I don't own a LBD.

I feel incomplete as a woman!!! I just can't find what I want, and don't think I even know what that is except I keep thinking of timeless, slightly sexy, simple, versatile...gaaah This search could go on for years.

I have only used mine once. I like wearing more fun things when dressing nicer. I wear so much black to work that I like wearing color when I'm on my own time.

I finally bought one this summer because I ran into something where it was absolutely necessary. Ann Taylor. Very nice.

Mine was a bridesmaid dress. No shit. There were only 2 BMs, so we just went to Macy's and found a great one for $30. I wear it all the time!

I have a few, but none of them fit right now because I've gained about 20 pounds since I had an occasion to wear any of them. I have a habit of doing most of my shopping when I get back from deployments to Afghanistan and am at my skinniest -- then nothing fits when I get back to my normal weight.

I feel like I might get lucky this week...against my better judgement, I'm going shopping and I plan to search for the elusive lbd AGAIN!

Aaaaaand if I score something vintage/lace looking in a yummy purple so much the better...I don't know why I want a purple lace dress...!
