amaranth, I am thankful for central heat right now too! Our last apartment had wall units and it was miserable. It is cold today so thankful I don't have to go anywhere
I'm thankful we're not traveling for Christmas AND that we have family coming to see us.
I'm thankful in advance for all the delicious cookies I'm going to make and eat this weekend

- DH is ok after his car accident and we are all healthy - my parents...all their help and going to Disneyland together - L has only woken 3 times 2 out of the last 3 nights and did a 4 hr stretch last night (sad that this is considered a "good" night at 11+ weeks LOL) - my boys...they truly are my world - DH- he works really hard and makes so many sacrifices so I can be home with our boys. He also has stepped up a lot with C and their bond is continuing to grow as C gets older - we have awesome neighbors that I know I can count on to help if/when I need it
I am thankful for the new convenience store that opened up near my work and is giving away free coffee all week, online shopping, and Children's Motrin.
Baby related: I am thankful that baby #2 is a mover and a shaker. My anxiety has decreased tremendously since I can feel him/her move regularly these last few weeks now.
I am thankful that the ILs have allowed us to move into their basement to help us save $$ for our big move to a VHCOL city next year. -I'm thankful for DH and everything he's done for me through out these last few years. He truly is amazing.
**baby related** -I'm thankful that baby is doing so well. (But I'm impatient, lol) -I'm thankful for all the support from friends and family through out this pregnancy (even when I've been a little crazy))

I'm thankful for a lot. We may not be doing as well as most people, but I'm thankful we can afford basic things and fun stuff too without too much of an issue. I volunteered today helping parents pick out toys from Toys for Tots for their kids and it reminded me that for these people, those might be the only gifts their kids get. And their kids probably have no idea the presents were donations. It was fun though to see how excited they were to get their kids certain things. I've been wanting to donate to this place (the Toys for Tots event was at a place that's normally a food shelf and that has clothes and stuff for families) and this reminded me I need to get stuff together to actually do it!
