Can I get permission to not clean my house this week so I can finish up Christmas stuff? I have too much Christmas stuff to do!
1. Wrap ALL the gifts 2. Pack for me and DD. DH will quickly get his done on Saturday... 3. Complete CD project for my parents. 4. Plan for Christmas Eve activities. We had planned on caroling in the town square this year. DH's dance partner and her husband want to get together. More than likely there will be last minute Christmas Eve planning.... 5. Friday - Decide if I want to do a last minute announcement after my doc appointment. I have the potential supplies coming today.
4. Call my HR department to get some of my leave stuff figured out.
5. Call the local thrift store and get them to pick up our donations. (Will probably make an appointment for after the new year as I don't know if they will be doing pick ups right now.)
Monday/Tuesday -- So. Much. Work. Everyone is JAMMING every possible meeting and deliverable into this week as if we will never speak again in 2017. -Wash guest room bedding and remake bed for my mom -Order gift from brother out west -Pick up giftcards for dad and daycare teachers
Wednesday/Thursday -- H and I took PTO and are toying around with the idea of meeting friends from KY at Universal/Harry Potter World. It's just SO EXPENSIVE. If we decide to go, my mom will come to watch R overnight.
Friday -- Half-day of work. This is when I plan to knock everything out -Drop off giftcards to daycare teachers -Pick up candy for H's stocking and maybe small board books for R's -Wrap final gifts -Tidy up house (luckily still pretty clean after in-laws visit this weekend) -Get some groceries
These are in the order I thought of them: 1. Wrap the last of the presents 2. Make spritz cookies 3. Do another load of laundry & finish packing 4. Drop off donations at thrift store (thanks awick14 for the reminder, apparently the bag by the door isn't enough) 5. Finish cleaning bathroom 6. Mop whole apartment 7. Finalize NYE plans. Thursday: Assemble cooler of food to take to FIL's place.
I should probably wrap H's gifts, but I also know that he won't care if they aren't wrapped. I'll wrap them eventually. lol. I don't really have anything else on my to-do list this week, other than going to the pet store at some point to pick up puppy gifts.
Finish Christmas shopping tomorrow. I have to wrap everything too.
Menu plan and make a grocery list since we plan on eating as a family for breakfast and dinner while in the keys. It looks like I'm doing the cooking lol.
