LOL!! But how did anyone catch on she was photoshopping them? And how much photoshop was done? SO many questions!!
She went to GTGs.
She also had two FB accounts - one with real pics for her IRL friends/family and one with her photoshopped stuff for GBCN. I won't link because 1) I don't remember her name and 2) because of personally identifying information.
I just don't understand how she went to gtgs, and people didn't immediately come back to the board and not say something. LOL!
I was under the impression she didn't like the other kid, but maybe that's because she bitched about both of them so much.
Oh I'm not convinced she particularly liked being a mother at all, but she definitely favored E over J x10000000. I'm pretty sure she largely ignored them both, though.

That takes a level of dedication and effort I will never hope to achieve

This is magnificent. Thank you for sharing this tidbit.

Yes! And then to potentially ruin it all by meeting up with people IRL?! This is bizarre and fascinating.
LHC said some mean stuff years ago about the husband of a regular here (it may have been on the old place, I can't remember) and I just always thought she was horrid after that and couldn't believe people thought she was so awesome. (like the mean comments weren't warranted. He was cleaning the kitchen, lol.)
One thing I have noticed happening more is how quickly the tone of posts shift to keep with popular opinion/posters. Its always happened, but now it seems even more frequent, and quickly.
This is a recent example from ML - someone posted a link to a house listing - there were a lot of Persian rugs. First 10 or so posts - "ew. ugly" "nice house, but those rugs, gah" Someone posts - It is a cultural thing - there are some people who have homes like this - that rug on the wall is probably worth 10's of thousands of dollars All following posts - "oh, I love it", "beautiful rugs" "I wish I had some like that"
I find it hard to believe that people the first 10 people were the only people who disliked the style. I also don't think that the following people really all loved the decor as well. But because someone noted how there is a cultural aspect to decor like that, everyone started to fall all over themselves to make sure they were the most accepting/tolerant/loving.

I can't decide if this is more hilarious or more pathetic.

I think she probably felt protected by her status - if someone had come in here posting that she was a troll, all her minions would have had a field day. Add in that I think generally, this place is pretty good about not commenting on physical appearances. (though I don't think that should apply to lhc, because if I recall she had no problem shaming posters for looks, but I might be mis-rememmbering)

Yeah, it was everything. I was sent a picture and I had a hard time recognizing it was her, even though she posted a billion pictures of herself here.
I am so fascinated by this. I wonder why? If people here knew what she really looked like why the effort to distort the photos? This is so intriguing.
Like I said, I'm surprised no one said anything. I know too many locals to have been able to pull it off here, and then going to the board gtgs really blew my cover.
Well, I guess my grievance is that I think there is some revisionist history going on here. I think plenty of people recognized and talked about Hillary's flaws. I think they just also thought she was worlds better than Bernie and galaxies better than any of the GOP candidates.
I think there is also an element of not wanting to criticize your own, which I think most people here can relate to. There were plenty of places online and IRL where people could here alllllll about Hillary's flaws. I don't think anyone was unaware. I think a lot of people enjoyed having a place where they could talk about her strengths without the Bernie Bros or the Trumpkins coming for them.
Obviously YMMV.
I know we aren't going to agree here, but I don't think so. I can't remember who it was, but I remember one time I posted why I thought it wasn't just sexism and some poster was flat out like NO you are wrong. And I get people wanting a safe space when whatever they have going on IRL is a constant afront to their beliefs, but by having a Clinton-safe space it pushed everyone else out.
And I am someone who hates the fact that Sanders ran as a Dem. I think it was selfish and he just wanted to money. And I don't care that the DNC was pushing for Clinton because I don't blame them for wanting an actual Democrat as a candidate. And I don't think that they should have tried to placate the Bernie Bros. because they should learn something about governing and politics and create their own damn party. But I felt like there was a bunch of rah rah Clinton and a small minority calling out the issues. Isn't this why sbp was run off? I missed when the final thing happened, but she was all about those speaking out against Clinton not knowing what was best for them. And she wasn't the only one spouting that.
Yeah, I was very anti-Bernie, but by the primary rolling around I felt like I was defending him in most threads. I know I was hard on him early and annoyed that I was surrounded by Bernie Bros who acted brand-new about politics from about Jan - March, but I also didn't see him as evil or malicious toward Clinton.
I did welcome this as a "safe space" for a little while, but even at the end of the General felt like I was always, "Well, Trump could win... I am seeing a lot Trump support around me and very few HRC outward signs." I was also hoping that my observations were red-state orientated, not everywhere and wanted to believe the HRC love from here at the same time, feeling like it was hype since everything outside of here focused on both her actual flaws and perceived issues that were bogus, thus confusing the two for most people outside of here.

It's quite genius actually, because anyone who called her out WOULD have been gotten pitchforks for "body shaming" for pointing out the obvious differences given her status with people.
