He either buys no gifts, or he shops online a few days in advance. I can't remember a time since knowing him that he has gone to a store for any gifts.
Kind of off topic, but not really: What do you guys think of this bag? The sale price just got lowered and H told me to use money from his account to order it.
I've had my eye on it for a while, but I rarely leave the house anymore so buying a new purse feels silly. lol.
HoneySpider - H is terrible about shopping early. He does this for all gift-giving occasions. Christmas is the only one where he doesn't buy gifts on the day of, because all of the stores are closed. But the rest of the year - birthday, anniversary, Valentine's Day, etc - he goes shopping that day and brings gifts straight home to give to me.

Pretty sure H did his stocking shopping for me today because I saw him sitting at the computer for a while being all sketchy. I'd imagine some amazon prime boxes will arrive Christmas Eve and he will make a candy run tomorrow.
This year we had agreed not to exchange gifts, but then I found out he bought me a small gift. Urg! I made him tell me how much approx he spent (~$30) and I went an bought he something as well. (He bought it about 2-3 weeks ago.)
He usually doesn't shop until the week before Christmas though.
awick14 - H always does that, too! We set a budget so that we're spending an equal amount on each other, and then he goes beyond the budget on purpose!

He usually goes over the budget too. But this year at least he didn't spend much money. (Our budget is usually $100)
He says that he didn't agree to the no gift exchange this year. He did but whatever, I figured with both of us not working that spending money isn't the greatest idea right now. (Well at least I'm getting maternity pay and DH is getting unemployment)

We agreed on $100 this year. I have no idea how much he's planning to spend, because he won't tell me, but I know it's more than that (he's using his checking account with fun money in it that doesn't impact our budget).
He use to do it all online on Black Friday. Last couple of years he has shopped just a couple days before Christmas and had packages show up on the 24th. He already let me know he waited too long and 1 package could be late.
H took me to the outlet mall and got me a Vera Bradley purse and makeup bag. He is also paying for this great trip. I can't forget the $100 in clothes from old navy and $90 worth of bras and panties.
Our knew thing is shothe dat after Christmas for gifts for each other, so much cheaper
Online. He actually bought me something before I asked for a new power drill for Christmas. He told me I could go ahead and order it when it was on sale for Black Friday so I sort of bought my own gift. But I love it I insisted on using it before Christmas. I've assembled a powered car for W, assembled W's big boy bed, put up some wall decor, and installed a new toilet paper holder. It even has a fancy light and everything.
He usually gets something for me waaaaaaay in advance and it's for "Christmas." Like my tattoo was my gift this year. But then he will sneak snacks and some small items under the tree. I don't think he has done that this year though.
