Tonight I finished sewing the main portion of my sister's shirt. She is here visiting so I asked her to try it on and said it was for travelbug. Lol. Well, it looked awful. The sizing wasn't quite right but more notably her body shape just isn't a good match to the pattern I used. She even said "this is so comfy but I don't wear shirts like this because..." then explained why. So, given that it's three days before christmas, what would you do?
A: Buy her an extra gift, nothing homemade. (She'd be the only one without a homemade gift) B: Quick on Saturday sew her a new shirt from a different pattern that I hope will fit and suit her better. C: Give her an IOU gift including all the clothes pattern options available and let her choose what I make, then mail it to her after the new year. D: Do a cop out homemade gift like a scarf or hat so she gets something, but it's not super thoughtful or unique.
I would probably lean toward making her something new on Saturday, if you have time, but I'm sure that she wouldn't mind an IOU and the chance to pick out which pattern you make! I think you would be totally fine doing it either way.
