DH gave me a ring for Christmas. Apparently he had bought me more (the ring I specifically asked for and he wanted to surprise me with something) and it was all cancelled. He noticed yesterday since it hadn't been delivered. So he reordered it. Guess I still have presents coming.

We have a slow day at work today. Hoping it stays this way as I am tired. I've got nap-n-needles around lunch and I'm pumped for that!

I'm bummed because I have to go to my anatomy scan today by myself

My in laws were supposed to take B overnight but now their whole house has a stomach bug. My friend who could watch her has her own daughter home with a fever/cough. And my last resort friend is away on vacation. Everyone else is two hours away. I called and asked and B isn't allowed in the ultrasound room. H offered to come with her and wait in the waiting room, but I'm not sure what the point of that is. I really wanted my H to experience this because he's been a bit disconnected from this pregnancy. Not to mention we lost our date night and night alone which we really, really needed.

((Blue Moon)) I'm sorry. DH wasn't able to come to C's anatomy scan either. It sucked but for me it was okay once it got started because I got really into watching the screen. Hope it works that way for you.

I'm at work, day 3 of 3 in a row. I'm tired, it's been really busy. I have like 15 minutes now and will then get busy again. Ahhhh! Dh is home with E, and he said Tuesday was good but yesterday was bad because E was bored. Wondering how today is going. I suggested different places to take him to kill time and energy.

Thanks guys. I talked to my mom and she gave me a good idea. I think now H and B will come with me and wait in the waiting room while I get the scan. I'll have the tech write the sex on a piece of paper and then H, B, and I will find out together during the dr appt right after the scan. They can come in the regular appt room with me so I'll see if the doc can use the Doppler real quick so they can hear the heartbeat at least.

I'm sorry Blue Moon . That's disappointing, but sounds like you found a way to make the best of it.

If it's the thread I'm thinking of that was deleted, it wasn't scandalous and it will all make sense soon.

Day 3 of my cleaning spree. I need to run a few errands this afternoon, but that also requires taking a shower first.

HoneySpider my H and I had a few Pitt athletic "celebrity" run ins tbis week! Not sure how into basketball you are, but we saw Dejuan Blair twice at our local Target last week. Then two days ago my H saw the former football coach Walt Harris at our gym. He's always was my favorite coach. I'm still a little annoyed that he got fired forever ago.

I love Walt!

I went to Big East media day one summer to cover it for The Pitt News and it was in NJ so my mom came with me, and Walt sat with us at lunch. He was super nice and my mom still mentions that every now and again

I have either food poisoning or the stomach flu. Things went down hill after dinner last night and haven't resolved yet just sort of laying on the couch in the dark.

Also, fwp, but I need to go visit my grandma out of state and it overlaps with the hair appointment I've had scheduled for 6 weeks. I'm so bummed to reschedule it for even further out.

Feel better amaranth!

My mom took G for a couple hours this morning. DH and I took C and went and got coffee (tuxedo mocha thanks to luv2rn4fun talking about it. Yum!) And did a couple errands.

I'm so freaking excited because my mom is taking both the girls tomorrow for a couple hours so DH and I can go on a lunch date! The weather has been nice so my mom suggested we do it before it gets cold next week. So we are going to lunch at our favorite place, I'm gonna get a bit tipsy, and we are going to walk around downtown afterwards for a bit. We need this so bad. Nice time for us to relax and connect as a couple. Plus I'm pumped to have a drink!

My step mom and dad's cousin came over for a play date! Nice to have someone here to entertain C all morning! Nap time now and I really should be sleeping but am on here instead. It's warm today so we will probably go for a walk before dinner.

I'm watching a movie that came out when I was 8. Growing up my siblings and I would rent this movie at least once a year. It's so bad watching it now, but I can't make myself turn it off.
