I usually go every day. Each class is different or even if I do a DVD I find I do it each time differently. Pushing, modifying, etc. so it's ok to do every day.
There was one summer where I practiced for at least an hour an day, every day. I didn't have any problems at all, and modified if I was too sore. I'm generally less sore if I practice more often, even after a hard session. The only reason I don't practice daily now is that I'm lazy

every day is fine but i like to alternate between intensity. i have many many dvds that i love so one day i'll do a really really challenging one and then i'll be a bit achy the next day so i do one that isn't as challenging but still good. makes sense i hope
Every day should be fine, unless you hurt yourself. I do it 5 days a week, and even though I may be sliiiightly sore the next day (my abs, or arms or something), I'm not actually in pain.

Every day is fine, though I do think you should take a day off per week to let the practice sink in and give your body a rest. At the very least do something less strenuous like a restorative class or a mostly meditation-based practice.

That's a good point. One of my weekly yoga classes is called "healing transformative flow" and is very low key – mostly stretching on the mat and not at all at the intensity of my other vinyasa classes. It's a nice break
