What do you plan to do this week to make better choices?
Honestly, it's going to be a hard week with DH's family here - but my plan the end of the week is just to start getting stuff out of the house/put away/put in the freezer. We've been hosting family and ended up with so much stuff!

How are you feeling mentally and/or spiritually?
Mentally, a little scatterbrained. Still in holiday/vacation mode.
What are going doing for YOU?
I'm going to take the weekend to relax and enjoy time with DH & DS before really kicking into gear next week - I might go bra shopping at some point

How much weight do you want to do?
My long-term goal is ~40 lbs but I have 2 mini goals for the year - ~15 by DS's baptism and another 15 by my birthday

Holiday gains I'm sure, I'm staying off the scale until next week

A little restless - I'm looking forward to getting back into a normal routine

Drink more water at work and home and get the junk out of our house, even if I eat some, I want it out of here!
Any workout plans?
I'm starting my push up program today, which will be an everyday workout. Hoping to walk with H once or twice and my walking buddy once this week. Next week I'll introduce yoga!
Meal plans?
I haven't thought about this. I will do a pantry inventory today, write up a grocery list for tomorrow. And then semi plan the week!
How are you feeling mentally and/or spiritually?
Mentally I'm feeling a little overwhelmed, but I usually do the first week of the year because I always feel overcommitted but I feel excited too. I am filling out of my Passion Planner today, which is the greatest planner I've ever seen/had.
What are going doing for YOU?
I will take a few bubble/epsom salt baths, giving myself a pedicure as we speak, and will grab coffee with a friend!

We are going to kick some serious ass this year! You are all amazing!
How much weight do you want to do?
25 pounds and some serious toning ALL over!
Any losts or gains?
I'm not stepping on the scale until February. I think that'll help me more than getting on it now. Even though that sounds weird.
How are you feeling over all?
Feeling motivated and excited to kick 2017 off right. I've had a great 2 days being productive and relaxing. I still have a lot to do today to kick myself into gear, but so much good is happening!

I'm working on focusing my energy on thinking positively and being intentional with my thoughts and actions.
Any workout plans? I'm doing a daily yoga challenge. Today is day one.
Meal plans? I'm slowly cutting soda out of my diet. For now, I'm allowing myself to take sips of H's drinks, though.
How are you feeling mentally and/or spiritually?
I've been very up and down lately. It's hard to work through the depression when there's no reason behind it. Im definitely looking forward to my therapy session next week.
What are you going to do for YOU?
That's a good question. I haven't really thought about it.
How much weight do you want to lose?
None.
Any losses or gains?
I've lost too much weight and I'm hoping to gain some back as muscle.
How are you feeling overall?
Better than I was a year ago, which I'm going to consider a win at this point.
The plan is California (Disneyland)! Since we fly standby we are always prepared to end up elsewhere but I'm fairly sure we'll get there
Fun!!!! I've never flown standby. Maybe I should look into this... how does it work exactly?
I'm not sure how someone does this normally. My dad works for an airline so we've done this all my life, lol. My parents are able to see how many seats are open and list us on the best flight in the system I think is only for employees. As long as the seats stay open and there aren't people with higher seniority that list, we get on the flight. Usually my dad has the highest but bringing H knocks is down (stupid, and we didn't know this until we were having trouble getting back from Florida 3 years ago). It's cheap for us so it's worth it!

What do you plan to do this week to make better choices? Limit myself to 2 Starbucks runs. I don't make terrible choices, but it's caffeine and sugar I DON'T need. Any workout plans? Yes, I am aiming for <3 workouts at a new gym.
Meal plans? Yes, I have Tues through Thursday planned so far. Tues: Burgers and Green Beans Wed: BBQ Chicken and Black-Eyed Peas Thurs: Steak and Salads I like quick and easy and H likes lean meats/veggies, in case you can't tell. Win/win for healthy eating time. How are you feeling mentally and/or spiritually? Great! I was walking through the parking lot of the grocery store today. It was 75 and sunny. I'm in shorts and a tank top and I just catch myself thinking, "I am so happy." It was weird. I have NO doubt that seasonal depression is a thing, because the sunshine and good weather just had me feeling so great. January 2nd of last year, I did not feel like that.
I was really worried coming back, because we don't know a lot of people here and I'd be WAH. I was worried I'd feel isolated, but I don't. I do need to set a plan to meet more women and network though. What are going doing for YOU? I want to get a pedicure this week.

How are you feeling over all? Good! I just bought a beautiful new planner, so I pumped to get things going in 2017 with work, volunteer activities, and my personal life.
What do I plan to do to make better choices? -drink water instead of snack
Workout plans? -continue taking DS for stroller walks 5x/week and workout in our complex's gym 1x/week.
Meal plans? -meal planning with H.
How are you feeling mentally/spiritually? -ok for the most part; a bit down though to be honest.
What are you doing for YOU? -H took DS out for 1.5 yesterday and I watched a movie I got for Christmas, I have plans to go to a girls lunch in 2 weeks and need to go shopping for clothes that fit. I'm tired of rotating the same 6 shirts that actually fit.

It's not Friday yet, but I have a mental health accomplishment that I want to AW so I'm posting it here.
Yesterday, I went out to lunch with my old boss and five other co-workers. We went to a restaurant I've been to before but never eaten at. I was able to find something on the menu, order it, and eat a moderate amount of it without having a complete breakdown in public. Then, rather than going straight home and panicking for the rest of the day, I went into the office for a few hours and interacted with people.
I don't even have words to describe how I'm feeling. This is HUGE.
wanderingenough - Thank you! My stomach is a bit upset this morning, probably from what I ate at the restaurant, but it's worth it to have gotten to have that experience. I felt like a normal person for once, sitting and eating lunch with everyone.

What I plan to do this week to make better choices?
- I grocery shopped and got back to sensible meal options, especially for snacks. Fruits and vegetables were seriously lacking. Thankful for prenatal vitamins to fend off scurvy.
Any workout plans?
- I want to start the 30 day Shred. I did shovel 2 feet of snow off our back deck so that counts as my workout for today anyway.

- I am loosely following a meal plan. Mostly chicken recipes.
How are you feeling mentally and/or spiritually?
- I felt a bit of a let down after the holidays, especially with our impeding bitter cold January weather. I bundled baby on Monday and went for a long brisk walk around the neighborhood that made a world of a difference. I hope to continue this on milder days. I'm just not used to being cooped up like this.
What are going doing for YOU?
- just simple things, like today I made a point of straightening my hair.

- I was back to my underweight self within days postpartum, but I do need to build back up my fitness and tone up.

- just want to hold steady
How are you feeling over all?
- I try to set mini goals to accomplish each day to feel like I accomplish something apart from nursing babe all day. If I manage that, I usually feel pretty good about myself that day.
I'm really enjoying the daily yoga challenge I started on Monday. It's a mantra based challenge, and every day has a different "I am" statement that goes along with the class. So far: Day 1 - I am Powerful Day 2 - I am Peaceful Day 3 - I am Free Day 4 - I am Confident
It's been a really positive way to start each day, and the mantras have been really impactful for me.

katespade - Where are you getting the yoga workouts/poses that go along with it? I'm thinking I want to do yoga/stretching on my days off from the gym for active rest.

-try to up my water intake, and mainly just watch portion sizes right now

-try to get more steps in. I broke my garmin watch strap while in labour (how do you do this?!?) So I've ordered another strap. When it gets here I will be walking so much more.

- this is going to be harder because MIL does the shopping/cooking, but most of the meals she makes are healthy, I just need to watch portion sizes and that I don't eat/drink the snacks/pop she always buys.
How are you feeling mentally and/or spiritually?
-mentally, I'm doing ok, sleep is the main thing putting me off mentally right now.
What are going doing for YOU?
- (baby related) DH takes the little one when he gets up in the morning right after I feed her and allows me to sleep for 2-3hrs until she is hungry again.

-(baby talk) I am feeling pretty good. I went with DH to Home Depot yesterday and 2 separate people commented on how amazing I look for being 11 days postpartum.
