Christmas decor removal

When do you take your tree, decor etc down???

Mine is gone! We did it all today. I was anxious to get it all away before I start back at work tomorrow.

I usually take mine down mid January, but I think this year it's going down this week so I can continue my cleaning/organizing and this will help me feel good!

Usually the first week of January. It's still up. We got very little out this year.

We usually give it a week or so after the new year. It will come down this weekend.

DH took it all down and packed it up during naptime yesterday. So happy to have that done...i had no idea he was doing this so it was a nice surprise.

We didn't do outdoor lights or a tree this year. The only decor I bothered to put up is a winter wonderland mittens piece and a window frame hanging with two snowmen that were personalized. I figure those can stay up for a bit still.

Asap after NYD. We're not even home yet from a quick weekend trip, and daycare reopens tomorrow, so I'll take everything down tomorrow.

Within a weel after NYD. It will likely all come down today as soom as we stop being lazy.

As soon as possible after Christmas. I don't know why, but I feel like it's sitting there...taunting me like a to-do list. I took everything down a few days ago.

Today! I usually try and get it down on New Years Day since I have the day off work and have the time.

I took ours down on the 28th. We put our tree up the weekend before thanksgiving, so we were ready to get our house back to normal.

The day before we left for vacation. I just have to put away the boxes.

I usually try to do it on 12/30 or 12/31 to start the year without that on my to-do list. This year it is still up. At the latest, it will come down Saturday, but I'm hoping we do it sooner.

Usually sometime between Christmas and New Years we take everything down. But we usually have a real tree and it starts to drop needles shortly after Christmas.

While we are taking down those decorations we just take down everything else.

My husband takes it upon himself to take everything down a few days after Christmas. I told him this year it's something that makes me fall in love with him allllll over again each year. That may be one of my least favorite things to do ever.
