I would just be cool with being able to wear a 30-inch inseam or have normal length arms. I'm 5'4" but my 5'1" mother has longer arms than me. My arms barely go to the bottom of my butt.
I hate, hate, hate being tall. Hate. Being short sounds dreamy to me
It sounds dreamy until you're at a concert. Or trying to see over the dashboard while parking. Or finding something above the bottom shelf. ; )
Well, you just ask the tall people around to get the stuff off the self and to carry you around their shoulders at the concert since you are small enough to fit on their shoulders Walla!

Or you're basically rock climbing in the grocery store for stuff. Yeah. Been there, done that. I always look for an "adult" aka someone taller than me.
When I was younger I would have told all of you short folks to go fuck yourselves. Lol. I'm 5'11" and most things to do with growing up -dating, self esteem, clothes etc was a shit show.
It still sucks to find clothes now but at least my fucks are all spent with the rest. My bf is 5'8" and he's awesome, and the height makes no difference at all to us.

5'1" checking in.
Most chairs are uncofortable because my feet don't touch the ground. Flying is the worst. My 11 year old is only 3 inches shorter than me. I almost fell in a large trashcan tonight, trying to get something out of the bottom.

I missed the last box of Trader joes Carmelized onion tarts on New Year's Eve because I couldn't reach it and the first tall person that came by grabbed the box and put it on his cart and walked away before I could even get the "excuse" part of "excuse me" out to ask for help.

I'm not laughing at you. Because I just got laughed at for blending in with the garbage can that I dragged across the lawn in the dark. Yes fuck you SO. I AM HEIGHT CHALLENGED, I will fall in shit, have random bruises from coffee tables, feel 17 wearing uggs w/a hoodie, and when I climb on the counter to get stuff I feel powerful being that big.
5'1ish. Everyone in my family, and dh's are no taller than 5'8" Except my brother and dh's uncle. They both are right around 6'4. We think they may be related to the mailman
5'5" but an "ultra petite" inseam of 26. I look like a fool in the petite section but my legs are so short. My PT had to measure 3 times to believe it. They are not even close to the same length either. I asked if that was normal and got an, "ummm... normal-ish I guess."

DHs nephews are 6'5" and 6'6". I love when they come over so they can get things down for me. I have to stand on the stairs to hug them.
the pants thing is infuriating. Sure I'm short. But if I'm about 2 inches shorter than average why are all pants 6 inches too long? often "petite" pants are a couple inches too long. I don't have a long torso, my legs are normal length for my height I think.
I don't want to pay to have the pants I just paid for hemmed.
I'm 5'3" and sometimes find airplane seats uncomfortable because I dangle. I love when airlines have footrest options.
Nobody thinks of the comfort of shorter people in these situations. All airlines always boast of extra legroom. I don't need that. I just don't want to dangle. LOL.
I always put my bag under the seat so I can use it as a foot rest.
I do get to fly cheaper and still be comfortable. Both me and DH are perfectly comfortable in coach for long flights. We feel bad for the 6ft guy always stuck next to us. I actually don't like regular 1st class seats because they have deeper seats and even my carry on doesn't help the dangle.

I'm 5ft and I think 1/4". I have short legs and a longer torso, but my torso looks short now because my boobs keep growing. lol.
And @kirkette- short was great for cheer except when it came to doing things like heel stretches and all that other stuff. I was flexible but my long leg/long arm friends were always able to get these stunts quicker because I had to be even more flexible than them.
