What's going on this week?

It's 9pm and I'm just now remembering it's Monday....

MIL, SIL and niece are here until Thursday. Tomorrow we are going to the Capitol, Wed I think SIL/niece are going to see the monuments so DH & I might go to the mall and a few other stores to knock out some errands.

Sunday the Dolphins are in the playoffs!!

Nothing except trying to get L back on his normal schedule. The holidays and being sick have really messed him up.

Back to work tomorrow. Then packing and getting ready for our trip! We are planning on flying out Fri night. We intend to go to Disneyland but the weather looks questionable so there is a small possibility we will end up going to Disney World instead. Hoping the rain is minimal in CA! A little rain is fine with me, just means it will be less busy

Tuesday night I am going to my friends for a nail paining night.

I go back to work Wednesday!

Saturday is our fire companies last banquet dinner. It's bittersweet. But it's beach themed and even got a frozen pins colada machine! Oh and they took my advice and rented a bus so no one has to worry about drinking and driving, we can just all let loose and have fun!

estrellita- any amount of rain in So Cal will keep all the locals away LOL. We were supposed to go Weds but are postponing due to rain and everyone being sick. That being said...the storm Fri thru Mon is actually supposed to be a really big one for here. We have been getting a lot of rain (most since 2010)...which is good since we are in a major drought but sucks for you and for us since we have a pretty major leak right now.

Not much going on here. C and I did bagels and coffee and groceries this morning while DH stayed home with L. Need to get caught up on chores and get us all healthy...C is still sick (might call his doctor if he hasn't improved by tomorrow) and so am I. Also, lots of rain this week so we will be staying inside most of the time but get out whenever we can for walks and such.

Working Tuesday-Thursday.

Tomorrow is my old boss's last day so I'm going out to lunch with her and a group of co-workers.

Endocrinologist appointment on Thursday. It's good timing, because we need to talk about how I'll need to handle my thyroid disorder if I get pregnant.

I'm meeting a friend for coffee on Friday.

No plans for the weekend yet.

luv2rn4fun hmm I wasn't seeing storms, just some scattered rain, but we're keeping our eyes on it! I'm more worried about E in the rain than the rest of us, I like when the parks are less busy

Yeah, it probably isn't bad for anyone else but the little bit of news I saw made it seem like a lot of rain. DH is also worried because of our leak. Either way, it will keep people away from Disneyland, which would really help you because schools are still on break here until 1/9 and locals can go back starting Weds which means it might be busy until next week.

Gotcha! Sounds like our snow storms.. last few years they keep predicting huge snow storms that end up being a couple inches, haha. Well I hope you get needed rain but just not while we're there (and that out doesn't cause issues for you)! Haha

Thanks! I hope it's not too bad for you guys! It never rains here. I have been wanting to go this weds for the last few weeks and now we can't because of rain and illness (no way are we going with a toddler and infant in the rain when we can just go next week!)...my step mom was the one that actually cancelled because she still has a cold (C got us all sick).

Two doctor appointments today and tomorrow, plus I need to stop for allergy shots at some point.

Then just trying to declutter.

At some point I need to grade the last two papers I collected. Not ready to start thinking about work yet though, we go back on Monday.

We are getting started on our renos at our house. (Finally)

I have a doctors appointment to make, I have to call when they open in 2 hrs. The appointment is DDs first appointment with the OB since being released from the hospital.

I was planning to send E to daycare today so I could do laundry and take down Christmas but he seems to be sick.

No plans tomorrow, except to finish up what I don't get done today.

Because RN's are so hard to come by....immediately. That's how I've done it at all the hospital systems I've worked with. I've only seen one hospital (in the several I've touched) go on a hiring freeze in January. They were connected with H.CA, so I wasn't surprised there.
