I found celery in the grocery store last week and was stoked about it.  It's the first time I've ever seen celery in the store since moving here, so I bought some even though I didn't have a reason.  Then today they had fresh dill and cilantro, which I also haven't seen until now.  I just made tzatziki with the dill, and I told H we're totally doing taco night tomorrow with the cilantro.

Our grocery started selling inexpensive shredded cheddar cheese last year. As a TexMex fan, this makes me irrationally happy. (When I first moved here, I had to go to the biggest supermarket just to find a small, expensive block of cheddar.)

yes! I too just saw shredded cheddar in my grocery store. Before that Costco was the only place to get it. I felt the same level of joy when I found frozen breakfast sausage. And I'd feel it again if decent cereal ever made its way here.

I saw shredded cheese in the grocery yesterday for the first time ever. It looked like they had just shredded blocks themselves and some of the tubs were already growing mold so I'm sticking with shredding my own.
