I do not have sensitive or dry skin....but the rest of the people I live with sure do. And all three of them are now running around with BRIGHT RED flaky cheeks. (yay winter)
We've got humidifiers going in the bedrooms.
I don't want to put anything on the little people that's going to sting already irritated skin, and I need something that isn't super greasy/oily since i'd prefer not to have little greasy face prints on my work pants. I smeared my Mizon Gel Cream all over Shorti this morning...that seemed fine - no stinging. I feel like that's not nearly as moisturizing as what she needs though. I handed MH a deluxe sample of the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream and that seems to be ok for him, but I don't know if there's something better. He's breakout and redness prone, so if I can take this chance to get him on something that will work year round I wanna jump on it. (he's weirdly moisturizer resistant. This is the first time he's wanted to use something. At least I got him to stop using bar soap on his face...)
I was going to recommend the FAB Ultra Repair Cream, so I'd see if that continues to work. The first time I tried it was on a raw nose after a cold and it did great. You can get a 1 oz pouch of it from Sephora for $6, so it's quite cheap, too.
Also my little trick for thick moisturizers is to rub them on the back of my hand a bit to warm them up and thin them out. They absorb better that way.

I layer Monkey Balm on my kids before they go outside and before bed. It come in a stick, so it's mess free. For DD2 whose skin is dry too we use the Cosrx 96 snail mucin essence in the morning and cetaphil cream (the version in the tub container) all over face and body after bath.

The only thing that seems to do the trick around my house is skinfix. Preferably the hand cream. Yes, I put the hand cream on all of their eczema spots. The eczema lotion with a pump is fine, but a little light when they are having a bad flare up. I don't actually like the eczema balm.
