Perfume Recommendations

Hey guys I'm looking for a new perfume. I wear Givenchy Ange au Demon Le Secret currently and I'm looking for something so I can switch it up from time to time. I prefer floral fruity scents. What's your favorite?

I like See by Chloe and Blooming Bouquet by Miss Dior, I love these for spring and summer.

I'm a perfume collector. I received Kismet by Lubin for Christmas from my husband. Very feminine -- floral/fruity. Another I like is Malia by Nobile 1942, and I really enjoy Intelligence & Fantasy by The Beautiful Mind Series. I recently tried a sample of Une Nuit Magnetique by The Different Company and it's lovely. I tend to wear darker (woody, earthy, etc.) and unisex fragrances or white florals on the unisex end, but enjoy floral-fruity when I'm in a lighter mood.

DH got me the Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream for Christmas and it smells soooo good.

Citrus scents mix best with my chemistry. I didn't realize until my 30s after years of trying to wear scents that smelled good on the bottle, but not so good on me. My favorites, all of which have citrus notes:

Where did you find a sample from TDC? I haven't seen them on any of my usual sites.

What price range are you looking for? Season?

On the commercial side I like Chloe and the Tocca fragrances (easily found in Sephora or Ulta).

A little more high end - Jo Malone and Aerin make beautiful light florals. They can be found at Nordstrom. Trish McEvoy and Carven also made great signature scents.

One of my favorite scents is Tom Ford Neroli Portofino. It is expensive and it is summery but it is amazing. If you're open to exploring indie scents, which tend to be more creative in their blends, I've been pleased with the Byredo and Etat Libre du Orange lines.

It's a niche brand, so sites like Luckyscent and TwistedLily will carry these fragrances. And for more pricey fragrances there are decant sites. I buy decants of fragrances that I really like, but are too expensive to be full bottle worthy.
