I did not, because I as a dweeb with no friends. And my parents never went OOT anyway.
My younger brother and sister did, though. I had moved out by then and drove by for a visit, and nearly had a heart attack when I saw an ambulance parked outside. Their EMT friend had just stopped by for a bit.

No, but I grew up on a family farm with my paternal family all living within 2 miles of each other and often needing to come over for equipment, feed the animals, etc. while my parents would be out of town.

No. My parents traveled a lot and left me and my brother home alone a lot in high school.
However, I wasn't popular enough to have a party. Once when they were away me and my two best friends got VERY drunk for the first time and they did find out.
ETA: I was such a goody-two-shoes that I never even told anyone that I was home alone for the weekend besides my best friend because I was afraid people would just show up like they did in movies, even if we weren't friends. lol
YUP! My parents would go up to the cottage and I would always invite friends over. The only time I ever was busted was when my parents stayed home and I had a party at the cottage. Sound travels pretty good out there, apparently.

Not big parties. For big parties, I let someone else's house get trashed. lol But a lot of my bf's/friends were older and weren't living with their parents, so it was like every day was a house party with no parents home.

One time, my brother's friend got sick and threw up on the carpet in our basement. We couldn't get the spot out, so our brilliant idea was to pour Coke on it, and tell my parents we spilled soda. Yeah...they figured that one out pretty quickly.
We also tried to pull the whole "drink all the alcohol and replace it with water" trick.
Oh, yes. I had parties just when they went out for the night. Not ragers, but definitely more than just a few close friends. Apparently my H was known for his parties in high school so his were much bigger than mine. His trick was to tie balloons to the mailbox to make it seem like it was a birthday party. lol.
I remember my parents once let my brother stay home for a weekend his sophomore year while the rest of us went away because it was his best friend's farewell weekend before moving to another state. We got home to a mostly clean house, except I was a perfectionist and noticed right away that my bed pillows were not arranged correctly. (In retrospect, ew! My bed!) I didn't tattle, but my parents later found a couple cigarette burns in the basement carpet. Smoking inside is definitely a party buster!

My parents never went out of town and I lived too far away for my friends. Now, we did party often at a friend's house whose mom was gone a lot. Once it was busted by the cops and everyone scattered like roaches. the only person caught was the girl who lived there. Ah memories.
Haha!!! Noooooo. I was a very good kid. I was a total rule follower and it cracks me up to see that David is the same way.
God, I would be the epitome of the saying "Do as I say, not as I did", if I were a parent. lol
I already felt that way when my oldest nephew, when he was 17, went to a party and got really drunk with his friends and got caught. I was all "Well, that's nothing ... er... I mean ... that's bad, Nephew!"

No, my mother never left me home alone overnight. She didn't trust any of us not to throw a party. My siblings totally would have, I would have been too scared of getting caught.

There was also the time I told my parents I had to work. I parked my car at work and had H (BF then) come get me. That was the ONLY damn time my uncle came by to see me at work. I had my car taken away.
By the time my mom could afford to go away, I was in college (lived at home) so she didn't care if I had friends over as long as nobody drove home. And everyone was too scared of her to even think about fucking up the house. We used coasters and ashtrays.
No but only because my bro/sister were too young to be left with me so we always had an adult at our house. My brother and sister did have parties once they could stay home alone.

I just want my kid to live a little! I wish I would have, lol.

This is my fear with H. He's going to try and one up then. H was a horrible teen. I was okay.
