This is the main issue I'm struggling with right now. I have SR Juno and have considered exchanging it for Artemis since the description talks about helping with clogged pores ...

I'm having a hard time linking, but FiftyShadesofSnail has a good routine she lays out. Search for her post on "Three pore myths." Basically, you use a BHA, then a mask, then an oil cleanse. But her post has specific times and brands.

Interesting. I do use an oil cleanser as my first cleanse in the evenings, AHAs daily (Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Peel gentle) and Exfolikate twice a week. I do have some of the regular strength beta peels which also have salicylic acid so maybe I could switch to those.

And I'm actually shocked to report this seems to have worked. I mean, I know nothing about the site, but "cleaning pores" stuff never seems to work for me. I actually got the "grit" feeling of stuff coming out around minute 3 of light massage of the oil. It was kind of cool!
I've reread the article and I think maybe I don't have congested pores? I don't have a lot of sebaceous filaments but flesh colored bumps (like a white head with no white)....

I think those are called closed comedones. They're basically the same thing as a blackhead, but they're not open on top.

Yes I agree. I have these and have had them since I was a teenager. I'm very new to AHA but once I introduced it, I started to see some of these coming to a head. I am really hopeful that as I get a handle on my actives schedule, they will clear out! I will say it's very annoying to have them all turning into whiteheads at the same time!
Whenever I use a product with glycolic (like the DG regular peel or Pixi glow tonic) I always have quite a few white heads the next morning. I wonder if I need to deal with it for a few weeks to see if it's a purge or if I need to avoid that particular acid. I do love what lactic acid does for my skin!
