Help!! Friends doesn't want to get her dog fixed

Please don’t flame my friend because she seriously does not know any better. She has a 6 year old what looks like a Yorkshire terrier and she has an appointment to get him Neutered and is now having second thoughts. She thinks it will change his personality in a bad way. It doesn’t help that she has friends who have told her that and yes these friends are ignorant in more ways than one. Can you give me some resources I can forward her to show her dog will be OK if he is fixed?

And if that doesn't work tell her that 3-4 MILLION cats and dogs get euthanized by shelters every year. Granted, some of the animals are sick, aggressive or have other issues but even if only 25% are healthy and happy you are still talking 750,000-1 million a year. A YEAR!
