See one of my very right wing, but pro homeschool friends, on Facebook is posting in opposition to her. So, there may be some hope of getting her blocked if the fundamentalists are also against her nomination ...
Folks, please call your representatives and tell them that you consider this woman totally unqualified for this position. I just called both my Senators and explained that I watched the hearing and that her answers with respect to IDEA were appalling. I also noted that they were going to lose Republicans that have kids with special needs if they vote for someone that knows nothing about the subject of special education. I reminded them that Senator Burr purports to be an advocate for the special needs community with his support of the ABLE Act, but that he was going to lose credibility on this issue pretty fast with this confirmation vote.

Done!
And if you don't know exactly what you want to say, here's a letter posted on Huffington Post.
I'm 28 years old. This is my sixth year out of college, and my sixth year working in education.
I know a lot more than DeVos - like, I am substantially more knowledgeable than she is on these issues - and THAT SHOULD NEVER BE THE MOTHERFUCKING CASE. To get my job in a school, I had to interview twice, have a master's degree, and have a few years of experience. DeVos, who will be leading our schools for the next four years, does not have enough knowledge to interview or get a job at my school.
I have had it up to MOTHERFUCKING HERE with politicians who think that education positions require 0 experience. It demeans my profession, trivializes the seriousness of our work, and jeopardizes the fate of public schools as a civic institution in our country.
So if you're listening, Pat Motherfucker Toomey, I'm going to call you every day until 2021.
