If you bf...when was lo aware of your boobs?

Like, when did he/she realize that's where the milk comes from, and start to grab them?

Dd is 7 months tomorrow, and I feel like last night she was starting to reach for them and get excited.

I BF for 13 months, and he never really reached for them.

DD is almost 8 months and she has definitely started doing this in the last month.

Like day 2, he still doesn't understand the shirt/bra covering them, but he knows where the good stuff come from.

I bf for 12 months. She never reached for them, but she would sign for milk when she wanted to eat.

Around that time and it got pretty annoying for me around 9 months because he would just go for them, shirt and all. That when I had to teach BF etiquette.

Mine is 3m and will stare intently at them when hungry.

Around 7 or 8 months?, he started to reach into my shirt when he wanted to nurse. He's 18 months and still does so, and we weaned last week.

I started to respond that E has been very aware of them since she actually figured out breastfeeding at 9 weeks but all the other responses made me think maybe I just had mommy goggles. She definitely knows they are there and she goes hunting for them with her mouth when she's hungry or tired. She doesn't do it to DH which is what has me convinced she's aware of them. She doesn't grab for them but she's only 11 weeks.

Hobbes never really grabbed much, but she started burrowing her face into my chest when she was hungry or wanted to comfort nurse at a pretty young age. I BF'ed for 13.5 mo.

He's 6 months old now and always gets very excited when he sees the boppy and we get into the nursing position - he scrunches up into a ball and starts headbutting my boob.

She never grabbed at them or put her hands down my shirt until she hit 14 months and I started the process of weaning.

Prior to that I would say around 5 months she would burrow into my chest if she was upset or hungry. Just full on head-butting me with her face.
