I'm at the allergy clinic, getting my weekly allergy shot. And who walks in right after me? My pathophysiology professor, who I know from nursing school as he graduated 7 months after me (he jumped straight into a BSN-DNP program, while I took time off from school). So we chit chatted a bit about school and work. Random.
I went to Target last night because there was a Cartwheel deal for a book I want to read. I spent all sorts of $$$ while I was there, and didn't even end up with the book because it was out of stock! After I got home, I ended up ordering it on Amazon. lol.
Plus side, I bought a really cute pair of shoes on clearance for $5.

Target is bad for the wallet, lol.
To be fair, the majority of it was groceries. But it was also shoes and candy. LOL.

We had a lot of rain early this morning but have managed to get outside twice for quick walks/play. L is napping now and we will play with the neighbor kids once he is up.
DH's job is quickly going downhill. He has his review tomorrow but has already been prepped that a raise will be minimal, if anything. We talked earlier today and I encouraged him to update his resume and start the process of getting a job closer to home. It will mean I will likely have to do dinner, bath, and bed most nights by myself but it also means he won't be driving 150 miles/day. Now to decide if it will be a lateral move or a promotion.
I finally have a specialist appointment tomorrow to deal with the cough and sinus infection I have had since September! I am both super excited to get it fixed and scared that it could be something bad. Who has a cough for five months?
Also, I won a free pair of LLR leggings today. Yay!
H and I had a big fight tonight, but I think it was good to get some things off our chests. Having an unemployed (not by choice) spouse is very stressful.

((Hugs)) krystee. Hope your appointment goes well tomorrow. Sorry about the fight.
melsamoony- so sorry. That really sucks. I hope you can find a solution that you are ok with.
bk1- hard to say but likely 8/9- 6 most days with a 30 min commute. He would likely have to work late during month end/quarter end though, which varies by company. When we met he was working til 7- 8p for 1.5 weeks. Then he got a new job and promotion but was literally coming home at 12a for at least a week every month and had to work holidays that fell during month end etc. Right now he leaves at 6:30 and is usually home 5/5:30. Dinner is at 5 and I am starting bath/bed at 6. C has actually been in bed most nights at 6 (i put him down first since L is unpredictable...and if I have to do them solo he would have to go down first because there is no way he will behave while I do L's 30 min nurse).

krystee ((hugs)) it's definitely stressful when one spouse is unemployed. H has a part time job but there are very few hours. He feels useless and I feel overworked. Hopefully the doctor can figure out what's going on!
