Lucky not lucky (TMI period crap)

I am so lucky and so not lucky.  I was at home, sitting in my new bright blue bar stools when I felt a gush.  Yup, the period that I thought was basically done decided to bum rush me.  I tend to wear a daily thin pad and was in thick leggings so nothing got on the stools, but it was everywhere else.  I hate perimenopause - it's given me the worst periods ever in my life.  But at least I was at home (and could put stuff in my washing machine) and didn't ruin a piece of new furniture.

Yeah, I hate those troll periods. I'll be like a stuck pig for three days, then trickle for 4, and then WHOOSH! back to stuck pig for another two.

I have had IUD's for 8 years without any sign of a period. For the last two months, I have started bleeding again - only a little, but I hate it with the fire of a thousand suns!
