In cleaning out/reorganizing the office, my DH found two Banana Republic gift cards. I checked the balances: $100 & $114. They are at least 15 years old, but still good for BR, Old Navy, Gap & Athleta!
The office is 75% done and of course, I've stalled. Going to make myself stain the wall shelves this week and finish the purge/organizing. I'm now wavering on the corkboard wall because honestly, little ledges would be better to display my work.
I've gotten so good at installing Elfa that this only took me an hour from start to finish.
ETA: So, the panels have hooks on them to provide a mini-mudroom so my children don't track muddy/snowy/wet boots and clothes into the house. The garage opens right into the kitchen, so it gets annoying.
Last night I also scrubbed the oven and microwave until they sparkled.

I'm 2 weeks from the end of maternity leave and I was much less productive this time. Not b/c of DD, she's a great baby. But Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and post Christmas clean up + having a second child have just eaten up my free time. Oh well. In these last couple weeks I need to finish planning for DS's 3rd birthday party. I'm sure I'll get back to house projects eventually. They'll be MUCH SMALLER though b/c we're paying 2 full time daycares in February
My furnace heating coil bit it this weekend. Water ALL over my basement.
DH was so skeptical that I insisted we buy a shop vac when we bought this house. It has been worth every penny and inch of storage space.
We are waiting on estimates for replacement/repair and an upgrade option. We will also lump in creating an additional zone in the house; we currently have single zone heating for two floors. It was on my long-term "to do" list, but I guess now is the time...

I don't know if anyone's been following my cardiology saga, but I updated over at H&F today. I saw specialists this morning and ... womp womp ... still can't swim and need EVEN MORE tests.
But in good H&G news, I *finally* managed to get to Ikea when they had the Kallax unit I wanted in stock. Also managed to fit that beast of a box into my car and get it home in one piece. I'm not sure I'm up to lugging it up the stairs, though. LOL
