Yes, please. Let's waste even MORE of our taxpayer money to fund an investigation that proves.... NOTHING. He fucking won but still wants to investigate.
It utterly floors me with each passing day that people so blindly support him and that he can do no wrong when EVERYTHING he does is wrong.
There's a positive that may come out of this. If the investigation comes back that there is virtually no voter fraud, that may throw a wrench into the plans for more voter ID laws.
And his popular vote loss will embarrass him even more.
An honest but maybe embarrassing question from a non-US person: #45 claims that illegal (I understand people without papers) residents have voted. Is that even possible? If you have no papers, how could you vote?
You know what? Let him call for a thorough investigation. May it open the door for a complete and THOROUGH investigation into the election, wherever that may lead (cough...Russia...cough). Hell, let the investigators decide that they need to recount the ballots.
We'll see that the screeching about the need for voter restrictions is wholly unfounded. We'll see that there wasn't any voter fraud, and that Cheeto is a loser. Again.

Don't you think he'd just falsify the data? Seems like that's the next step. Investigation led by Alex Jones.

I think it would have to come from DOJ. I don't know if they'd falsify the data vs. just not release the report.
Is it horrible that I have no trust in our current administration not to make up some bullshit that there were millions of illegal voters?
I mean, when they say that they have the right to challenge facts and that they are presenting alternate facts... It seems like an obvious conclusion to come to. They are going to falsify the shit out of some data when they find nothing and pop out some propaganda.

Ughhhhh I hate that you're right. They will find one case in California and amplify the shit out of it.
Okay, so even if there was massive voter fraud, how would they prove that those votes went to HRC? And if there was massive voter fraud, that would just make me think that the election was compromised, DJT isn't a legitimate president and there needs to be a re-vote (I mean, I know that's not how it actually works). But doesn't he supposedly hate being thought of as an illegitimate president? If he is right, wouldn't that just make him seem even more illegitimate?

I don't think he's thought any of that through.
I do wonder if any of his handlers had any idea he was going to tweet this before he did it if they are screaming to figure out what to say now.
ETA screaming was supposed to be scrambling but I guess either works

I hope they are. This is what you get when you sign on to work for the devil. Four years of heartburn over how to respond to his stupid tweets.

so in my head they're going to be focusing on heavily D states, like CA & NY, to make it look like his EC win should have been much larger/. they'll "investigate", say "we found MILLIONS of votes!" in these states and the governors are going to say "bitch please, that didn't happen at all."
