Nothing like an ice cold shower to wake you up in the morning! They never delivered propane yesterday. Hopefully they do today.

H has been so bored that he is actually doing stuff around the house! I need our internet to stop working more often! They aren't coming until Monday to fix it, maybe I'll write a honey do list for him.

WHY AM I AWAKE AT 6:30 AM ON MY DAY OFF?

I had the weirdest dreams last night, involving teeth, Santa, and one of the doctors I work with (not like that! Get your mind out of the gutter). And did not feel rested when I woke up.

We found the paint for the main walls in our house and went through and touched up all the marks. But the paint seems to have dried lighter with a different sheen. If you're looking at the spots dead on, you can't tell, but any angle at all, and you can see. I don't want to paint all of the walls.

pooh8402- I wouldn't worry about it. Our old house previous owners did the same thing and it wasn't a big deal for us. No way were we painting the whole house.

Today my plans are to do laundry, get the walls of 2 rooms in our other place washed and ready to paint.

We also have plans to go and visit my uncle and my grandma at around 2. My uncle is in town from California, he is leaving tomorrow though so I want to see him once more before he leaves.

I'm headed to my BFF's house once DS wakes from his nap and this afternoon a friend is coming to visit with her DS. I haven't met him yet and he was born in September. Every time I tried early on my DS was sick and I didn't want to get her newborn sick and then the holidays were upon us... and now it's the end of January. *sigh*

I'm going to see Hidden Figures tomorrow and I'm really excited!

I'm annoyed. Neither of my co-workers printed off my sub plans, which I know they received bc they both responded to the email. So apparently the sub complained to the P, and now I've got an emailed reprimand for not leaving plans out. I have a screenshot luckily that I can send showing that I shared the doc at 7:15, with the email I sent a few minutes earlier stating Google plans would be sent momentarily, if she requests proof to my reply.

ewall I'm am super annoyed. And literally just got another email from P that I should have left plans yesterday on my desk instead of relying on other staff....Um, that's the way we've done it for the six years I've been there, and it's never been an issue. Plus that's assuming I knew I'd be sick today....I woke up with severe pain around 5 am...There was no way it would have been possible to drive the 39 mins to drop plans off then back home again.

petty annoyance ahead:

so I have these wall plates in my living room that I love and they match my trim perfectly. I went to Lowe's today to buy more to put in my master bedroom and bathroom, to just class the place up a bit for selling. the manufacturer changed the white!!! it's now a bright pure white instead of the pretty creamy off-white. the "off white" option they had in store is called light almond and it's too dark.

wah.

I'll probably rearrange some of the older ones and use different ones in those spots, or go with different ones altogether.

Some of my H's family said some gross things on Facebook today. I didn't stand up to them because their brains are too small to even conprehend. I did passive aggressively like all the comments someone else made calling them out (which they laughed at). I am so very glad we didn't invite this person to our upcoming event. I cannot stand him. Also, the other contributor is getting married in the spring and it looks like we will save ourselves a few hundred dollars to skip their wedding. Now I'm salty about everything in life atm.

grover with logic like that, if you'd known you would get sick, you could just back up even another day further and prevent that too. How ridiculous. A pre planned leave is not the same as a sick day. Feel better soon!

Things are finally back to "normal" at work! We've been insanely busy for months. After hiring more and pawning off some of our work to other teams, we're finally able to handle everything! It's nice! I mean, I like overtime, but it's nice to get back to a comfortable place!

luv2rn4fun DH felt like the interview went well. From what he heard he expects to get an offer early next week if he is going to get one. We'll see. He is very back and forth about it but trying to find out all the information he can while he is down there. Things went good for me today. C and I enjoyed hanging out and my mom watched her for an hour so I was able to go to dinner with my brother. We haven't done something just the two of us in probably over a year. I'm looking forward to G coming home in the morning and seeing DH tomorrow evening. Thanks for asking!

bk1- glad things went well on all ends! Sounds like a great day between having quality time with C and with your brother!
