What is everyone working on?

Sock Madness, baby. Struggling through Round 2

I finally finished my giant pineapple quilt. I'm working on a slight redesign and making one for myself and one to (maybe) sell or give away. 

This is the largest quilt (twin size) that I've quilted on my home machine. It was a bit of a beast and I so wish I had a long arm machine to quilt large pieces on!

I did this at work today, because my boss thinks students are walking off with our pens. There are much worse ways to spend a Thursday.

Finishing sock #2 of the Petty Harbour pattern and then will start sock #2 of Broadripple pattern. I think I am going to start my first shawl, too, since I have a nice yarn that I think my grandmother would like and I think she might wear a shawl. THEN after MDSW I will start my and H's Rhinebeck sweaters (I need the yarn first!)

I finished Petty Harbour socks and just started the Gail/nightsongs lace shawl. I realized it calls for ~440yds, though, and the skein I have is 400yds. They don't sell minis, so i have to either eliminate a repeat or find someone willing to sell me a partial skein. The yarn is from Meadowcroft Dyeworks, Rockshelter Sock, in the "Four-Twenty" colorway.

My mom came into town for a quilting sew-in, just the two of us, for Thursday through yesterday.

Guess how much sewing got done?

None... the fabrics for the quilt I want to make are washed and ironed, but we never got around to cutting or sewing.

We did a lot of drinking and napping though.

have 14 rows left on my (slightly messed up) Gail/Nightsongs shawl, started a Dudester scarf with natural alpaca, and just started the Lannister shawl.
