I just need to get this out in a place that won't get me fired.
The executive director was making pretty shitty comments about me and the therapy team after I left our meeting this morning. I found out because the dietician and I are friends and she was still in the room when the comments were made. She thought I should know do that I can keep records of all I do in the future to hold as evidence in case something goes down.
I know we don't get along well because I don't kiss ass and have a pretty strong personality like her. We tend to clash on some aspects because with this new therapy division we have different goals and she does not like it. It is just frustrating because I feel like I am doing a good job and trying to figure out how to navigate through this change while still making both sides happy and she just says shit like this. Ugh!
I am sorry I hope this doesn't impact your long term happiness there. I've been where you are and it's so hard to do your best when you're worried about gossip or misinterpretation, etc. Good luck!

You know how you have those days where nothing goes well. Today was mine. Not only did I have a crappy day at work but on the way to the basketball game tonight our car broke down. We had to wait an hour and half for the tow truck, pay $160 to have it towed, and are out a car for who knows how long.
H thinks it is the computer system in the car and that when we were in the collision in November the didn't fix the car right. We have only had the car back for 11 days so we had them tow it to the place that fixed it and I sent the guy I was working with an email letting him know what happened.
It just sucks because H was so looking forward to the basketball game and now we are out the money for the tickets and now might have to pay for repairs and a possible rental. Not to mention all the hassle this is going to be.
