Pancake Mix PSA

You need to buy this pancake mix:



14g of protein per serving if you make it with water, more if you mix in milk and/or an egg. 
It's on sale at Costco right now so we picked up a box while we were there this weekend. H made pancakes this morning, and they were AMAZING. I will never buy Bisquick again.

awick14 - I hope yours does! If not, I'm sure they sell it other places, too. We're trying to make some big changes toward eating better, and I'm really excited that we've found something that is both delicious and has healthy ingredients/nutrition information.

Plus, I had my pancake about six hours ago and it's settled well so far. Usually, if I'm going to have a particularly bad reaction to something it will have happened by now. Woo-hoo!

How does the price compare? I saw that company on Shark Tank a few seasons ago but never remembered to look for it at the store.

amaranth - I think it is a bit more expensive than other brands, but not by a crazy amount. We bought a 4.5 lb box on sale for $8.49 (regular price is $11.99). It's also packaged as three 24 oz bags, which should help it stay fresh.

That doesn't sound bad at all. I usually make pancakes homemade, but I doubt mine have that much protein so maybe theirs are better.

I'm waaaaay too lazy for homemade pancakes. LOL.


I usually prefer maple syrup, but H also picked up their marionberry syrup and it's delicious.

Love this idea! I don't have a Costco anywhere close but I think I'll order on Amazon even though it is more expensive. Love the idea of added protein.

bk1 - It looks like they sell it at Target, too, if you have one close! Their website has a store locator, and I was surprised to see how many stores sell it locally. Apparently, I just don't pay attention in the pancake mix aisle! lol.

Thanks for posting! My daughter loves pancakes but she does better if she has protein in the morning. These sound perfect.

I heard about those and have seen them in my store. I know I've seen it on amazon. I haven't tried them yet though.
