E came in saying her mouth hurt and my throat is a bit swollen. If I have strep again that will be the 3rd time since April. I never had it prior to then.
Only thing today is running into work to decorate an employees cube. He's turning 40 tomorrow. I just hope I can get in the building. The key card system is down and I only have the key to my suite.
Had date night last night and the kids stayed at MILs. It was soooooo needed. Now I am drinking an entire warm cup of coffee in silence while in bed. H will be back with them soon though so I should shower...

I'm 23 weeks & had some brown spotting last night which freaked me out. My OB said take it easy & come in on Monday for a checkup. Thankfully the spotting stopped quickly & I've been feeling the baby moving consistently. It will be a lazy Sunday around here.
We went to dinner party last night and Cal had a total red faced screaming meltdown 5 courses in to an 8 course meal. I think the cooking smells were too intense for him. I was kind of okay with leaving at that point because the next course was squid lol.
I'm waiting for DH to wake up so I can head out to run 8 or so miles. Cannot wait to get a little alone time!
While I get sad at seeing DD2 reach milestones since she's my last, I cannot wait to be out of this phase. Bottles, pump parts, sippy cups, purees, finger foods.. so many things to wash and keep track of.
Ashley&Scott I hope there is no more spotting. Enjoy your lazy day!
sometimesrunner I'll be crossing my fingers for you today. Flights with a kid are something I'm never not nervous about. It's almost always perfectly fine, but the anticipation is the worst.
I went out with a good friend who I haven't seen in a month last night. I only had two beers but am experiencing the closest thing I've had to hangover in a long time. 8am church sounds like the worst right now.
We went out for breakfast this morning and DD sat in the high chair for the first time! She was so excited and was well behaved the whole time, it was amazing. Usually she gets fussy and stresses me out.
DH just went to the store. We decided to get a bunch of random frozen apps for dinner in honor of the super bowl, but I'll probably be in bed before the first quarter is over.
Ds2 has been uh, challenging. He just yells and screams. I had forgotten how not fun this stage is ugh. I think it's a combo of his age (14 months) and cutting molars. Also why are my children so loud? Seriously other kids are it as loud as they are lol.
I went to get my haircut, Costco, and Trader Joe's yesterday and was gone 3.5 hours. H looked like he had been through a rough time when I got back. Welcome to my life dear.

It's our last day all off and home together before the move. It's coming up so fast! DH starts his new job Feb 13. So far we are just taking it easy. We have some friends who might come over later.
My baby turned 3 months yesterday and she was a nightmare all day. Constant screaming, wouldn't nap, I have no idea what was going on. If it continues today I'll be relieved to drop her off at daycare tomorrow.

I feel the same. I LOVE the baby phase and don't want it to end, but at the same time I cannot wait to get rid of all the gear that comes with it.
DS1 got a coupon from school for a free haircut and it expires soon. I'm debating about taking him after DS2 wakes up from his nap. He's never been to a non-kids salon. We live 10 minutes from the stadium where the Super Bowl is happening so part of me doesn't want to leave the house, but it's right around the corner and the game isn't for hours.
We had a super fun day with DD yesterday. Met some friends at a play space and DD actually went through their climbing structure! It was so fun! She's always been a scaredy cat, I'm so proud of her. Then we went over our friends house and they had 3 dogs (2 visiting). DD loves dogs and had so much fun with them! It was adorable!
Today we are cleaning the house from top to bottom. It is so needed, it has been way too long. And DD is actually playing by herself and letting us clean. It is a miracle! I'm so excited to have a shiny house.
We took the kids to a bounce house this morning to get some energy out. No big plans for the rest of the day, just making some apps for the game tonight.
Quiet day at home, which was desperately needed after lots of busy days.
DS had track last night for the first time. He kept getting frustrated and crying whenever he wasn't winning. It was great he got out some energy, hoping he learns to be a good loser, too. Watching a bunch of 3 year olds following directions is hilarious.
We're going to a Super Bowl party later. Thankfully all of our friends have had babies in the past few years so it's kid friendly. We'll have to leave by Half Time to get the kids in bed. Go Pats!!

Went to target this morning but otherwise a nice lazy day at home. We're hosting tonight - the same people we had here for the big Pats win two years ago. Change nothing! 😊
Not only is it harder to lose weight post babies, my hips are permanently bigger Ds2 is 16 months and they are still 4" bigger than before I got PG with Ds1. So so discouraged

Don't be discouraged! Give it time ... like lots of time. Toddler V will be three next month. My hips hav ejust about returned to their pre-baby size. Since this summer, I've dropped down from a size 10/12 to a size 6. The scale is the same, but with committed weight training with farmvillelover, and being really focused at the gym, I'm pretty solid muscle and look 1000xs better.
GL to you!
Thank you <3 I'm dedicated to the gym but have to be incredibly strict with diet to see the slightest budge on the scale or inches.
Time to apply my word for the year (patience) to this as well!
