So the last month away from the boards has been amazing for my focus and productivity! Good things going on in the HS household lately. I miss chatting with everyone though and anxious to hear what everyone's been up to

On my end...DH is being forced out of his job (last day is end of April) thanks to new management (someone on his team actually heard her ask the recruiter that a candidate did not have kids, right). He is looking already and it looks promising. He will also get a severance that includes medical until August so we should be ok financially.

L is sleeping better so that has been huge for everyone in our house.

Currently, we are all fighting a cold so that sucks. Thankfully, C actually slept last night so hoping he is much better when he wakes up and we can avoid a trip to the doctor this week (at least for him...might end up there if L doesn't get better).

DH applied for a position in Nevada. It would be a dream job situation for him. So after always planning on staying in our home town we are concidering moving. He was flown in for an interview a week ago and is now waiting for contact back from the recruiter. Hoping to hear back early this week as we are both anxious about everything.

Welcome back, glad it was a good break!

Update on us: we're moving across the state, and are trying to sell our house (already under contract on a home in the new city).

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I'll get a job that I've interviewed for. DH will keep his same job and WFH.

And we'll be TTC again starting in early summer!

Wow a lot has happened on the board this month. I didn't realize until I read these recaps.

Nothing crazy here. Just tring to keep my head above water doing everything while H still works insane hours. The poor guy is ready to wilt, it seems. He is so fried. Hopefully only a few more weeks of this chaos.

amaranth We joined a church new last month and we are really liking it there. It's actually in our old neighborhood in DC, but I looked into a whole bunch in VA/DC and this one seemed really good and I was right. We booked R's baptism for April so I have to get stuff ready for that.

DH & I are getting into a really good place together and individually. The holidays were a lot of fun, but also kind of stressful with having our families here back-to-back and I feel like we were just out of whack. We're also trying to take some time for ourselves when we can (which isn't too often, haha)

I am 33 weeks today. I can't believe we made it this far. Unfortunately, FIL passed away unexpectedly after we saw him at our baby shower. We are naming baby girl after him for her middle name, so she officially has a full name now.
