After 8 months and $15,000 in legal fees I am finally divorced for my loser alcoholic husband. Saw the judge this morning and got everything signed off on including getting the deed to my house! He has to blow into a court-ordered breathalyzer four times a day for the next year and if he misses or fails even one test I get sole custody. Right now all of his custody has to be supervised as well.

Thank you to everyone who's been so supportive through all of this, this forum is wonderful and I'm so grateful for the great advice and support that I've received!

***Update***
For those of you not on ML, he failed the breathalyzer after 2 days. So as of right now I have sole custody and if you wants to take me back to court he has to pay my legal fees per the decree. The part that's killing me as his family doesn't believe he's drinking they think the breathalyzer was a mistake (he failed 5 tests in a row over a two-hour period)
