I officially lose my husband today. After 3 weeks of our internet not working, our new service will be installed today. Good bye conversations. H will be back on the computer all the time now. I enjoyed having actual conversations. I'm going to have to talk to him about having time without phones or the computer. I'm thinking we need to go back to eating dinner at the dining room table so we can have the conversations without distractions.
I'm currently waiting for my mom. I have to take her for eye surgery this morning.

wineandcheese - Somehow lately, after never really having done it, we have gotten into eating dinner at the table. Not every single night and not super long dinners or anything. Maybe three nights a week. It's nice though. Anyhow, I would see if you can make it happen! It's a nice way to unwind and reconnect without phones or tv or computers. I was like "huh, this is why people do this." Haha!
wineandcheese- hope your DH is open to dining room table dinners or at least some no electronic time so you guys can continue to connect more.
DH has a phone interview with HR for a position in my dad's city this morning! I am secretly rooting for this one over his other prospects, although I get the feeling he wants the one he interviews for next weds more. Today's job is closer, near the beach and my dads so we can visit if we want, and they have our current medical coverage. They also got good reviews from employees so that's a good sign.
My step mom is going to come over this afternoon...it Will be great to see her again! We hadn't seen her for about 3 weeks...they came the other day and C just melted in her arms! Made my heart very happy to see how their relationship is unfolding and he is starting to get really comfortable and attached to her (and my dad)!
I need to get some laundry and cleaning done. The house is a disaster and it's starting to drive me crazy!
I'm putting paint samples on the wall and spare cabinet pieces today. I need to do some more cleaning because I wasn't as productive yesterday as I probably should have been.
Good luck to your DH luv2rn4fun! wanderingenough and wineandcheese, I have enjoyed having dinner at the table with my H too; like others said, it's a great way to reconnect and unwind.
TGIF is definitely right. DH is coming back home today, FIL left this morning (after taking E to breakfast so I could grab a shower, bless the man), E is at daycare now, and I'm going to hole up somewhere and bang out my paper.

I found a $60 super cash coupon in my purse for old navy. I need new jeans so it's a sign lol. My mom is enjoying the day out with me so I guess going to another store will be ok.
I'm over this cold thing I have going on. (Warning gross) I've been coughing up and sneezing out like, chunks. It's disgusting and totally not normal, lol. I'm hoping this goes away soon!
I've got the stomach flu and a fever. My amazing teacher immune system is failing me. My H is going to try and leave work early to get the baby from daycare. Im trying to disinfect my house but I'm not getting far. Im hoping one of my sisters can stop by and help.
it's cuz you have a baby. I used to never get sick thanks to my amazing nurse immune system. but I have never been so sick as I have in the past year and a half. I finally weaned a month ago, so maybe I can stay healthy for a while now that my immune system isn't going out my boobs.

Thank you ladies! Interview went really well! DH is excited now too! Great company, pay, work life balance, and medical would allow us to keep our pedi and my doctors. They asked what he has going on next week and he mentioned his interview on weds so she said they want to bring him in no later than tues! Hoping this is the right job!! Sounds very promising!
I got so much accomplished so far today...vacuumed downstairs, 2 loads of laundry, cleaned the downstairs bathroom, most of the kitchen is clean, made some brownies, played with the neighbor kid, took DH's suit to the dry cleaners and got a Starbucks, took a shower, and have L some breathing treatments! My step mom should be here soon...will be great to see her!
DS is back to his 45 minute naps and I'm SO over it especially since he did great 1.5 naps 2x/day for a month. I think it's teething related (his teeth can kiss my butt) and he's back to pooping right after he wakes so no trying to get him back to sleep. Ugh.
I have a girls' lunch with 4 friends tomorrow and it should be fun! We're all leaving the kids with our Hs so here's to real conversation that's not interrupted a million times.

wineandcheese- how does old navy super cash work? I have a $30 and $10 but it says I have to spend $75 or $25, respectively (which is what I spent to earn them). I thought it was just money I could use there without spending extra money but now I am confused.

luv2rn4fun I had to spend $150 to get the $60 off. I ended up paying $95 for a lot of stuff. I was able to 2 pairs of jeans, 3 camis, 1 flannel shirt, 4 tee shirts, a long sleeve blouse, a pair of running shorts, pj bottoms, a pair of flats, 3 tee shirts for H and 2 pair of gym shirts for H. I need to through my closet later to pick out stuff to donate so I can put the new stuff in the closet. I started to donate to woman shelters 1/1 when I buy new clothes. It keeps my closet clean and doing something good at the same time.
