I saw this morning that our federal tax refund is in our account, I just filed a week ago! Yes!! We got back even more than I expected so I'm thrilled. Lots of it going to responsible stuff (like savings and Roths) but DH & I are going to both get new computers, we are long overdue. I'm excited!

I am not looking forward to filing last year we owed a shitton...we made a lot of changes in withholdings to try to avoid that this year, let's hope it helped.

The weather is so nice, hoping to get outside some today.

We just filed today!!! HAPPY REFUND to us!! It was a lot more than anticipated! Super excited. 95% is going into the Hawaii fund! YUSS! We went out to breakfast to celebrate and then we both work!

I work 230-11 today. I'm in such a great mood from breakfast and the refund. I'll work out in a bit. I can already feel improvements of strength even if I cant physically see it, yet, which is cool!

Our federal refund is pending, so hopefully it will be deposited on Monday! We were going to do fun stuff with it, but I think we've decided to put it toward renovating the kitchen instead. Less fun, more responsible. Laaaaame. lol.

We can't file yet because we're still waiting on a form that never came. He will hopefully call Monday. No idea what we'll be looking at this year because so much has changed since last taxes.

Last night was fun. A little drama, but at least less than last year. Also, because I wasn't pregnant I could drink so much wine...and I did. Lol.

So happy it's Saturday! B is taking a long nap now, and H and I both had a turn to go out shopping in shifts. He brought home some beautiful flowers for me and B, which is so out of the norm. Such a fun surprise. She was so excited!

We are going to H's grandma's 90th birthday party tonight. There's going to be family there MIL says we haven't even met, so I'm curious. Tomorrow is just a lazy day of grocery shopping and other errands, and hoping squeezing in a quick visit to snuggle my new nephew again.

We haven't done much of anything today. We should probably get outside for a bit but it's been a little wet and cold. DH needs to pick up his suit from the dry cleaners at some point. I am hoping he takes C somewhere to burn off some energy...he is way too crazy lately with how much we have been home.

I really need to get the stuff together to file. It was on my plan for this weekend, but with the shit going down at work, it's not happening this weekend. Hopefully next weekend.

I was stuck in a class all morning. One of my old partners taught it so it was kinda fun.

DH is getting ready to go to a business meeting so I will be home alone, maybe open a bottle of wine, watch crappy movies and print coupons for grocery shopping tomorrow. Wild Saturday night here lol.

We need to ask our friend when she can do our taxes. All she charges us is a home cooked meal.

Finished and submitted my paper a day before it was due! Now I just have an exam in front of me!

I haven't even got any of my T4s yet. (Tax papers from employers, not sure what the US calls them.)

It's a long weekend here and there are lots of family events so DH and I are going to a few. We did one today and we will do another one tomorrow as well.

I feel like I have been so out of the loop with the boards lately.

We ended up having 2 of our younger friends over for an ice cream party at 10pm last night lol. They ended up leaving a little after 11. DH enjoyed having them over. We joke that they are our children.

Oh, and it's snowing again. They called for 1-3 inches, we already have 4 and it's not going to stop until tonight lol

It's beautiful out today (high in the 70s). I needed to return the movie we watched last night so I took C with me, ran down to the store and then took the long way home to get more miles! I haven't run in awhile so it was great to get some real exercise in! Came home and made pink heart pancakes! Boys are napping now...not sure what else we will do today.

Feeling blah and meh. I know most of it is related to the work situation. I really wish at times like this that I wasn't the breadwinner so that I not have to worry about finding a new job to replace all or most of my income.

DH had plans with some friends today so I drove to the next town over and picked up 5 pups for the local dog rescue and brought them back here to their new foster homes. They are so cute!! I want to keep them all, too bad that we are moving and we don't want to get another pet until we figure it out.
