My baby has been screaming when I offer my boob to feed her about 1/2 the time the past 1-2 days. She will take a bottle of formula (1 oz only). Anyone have an idea what's wrong?
Not really MMM related but relevant to parents of the newly potty trained...
I have these wands to clean my toilet
which works fine most of the time. We also have a toilet brush but not in every bathroom. DH apparently had a "toilet sponge" but I threw it away when he yelled at me for using it to clean the sink (unaware it was a "toilet sponge").
The wands (or the brush really) aren't good at scrubbing the lid. I end up scrubbing the lid and getting detergent all over the floor and then having to scrub that with a paper towel etc.
How do you scrub your toilet lid frequently without getting soap all over your floor? Should I designate a toilet sponge? Help me out here.

DS starting doing this to me around 8/9 weeks. I went to an LC and he was diagnosed with tongue and lip ties. We got those corrected last week, and have been blissfully scream-at-boobs free since. I would definitely see an LC. Good luck, I know how brutal that is.

I just wipe the lid with a Clorox wipe or spray with bleach/water and wipe it down. I use those scrubbers but only in the bowl.
The idea of a toilet sponge is grossing me out.
If ds misses the toilet we taught him to wipe it up. He's pretty good about getting it in there though.

Get a sponge, do not use the brush that cleans the inside of the toilet to clean the lid. That will prob make the lid dirtier. I spray the lid with bathroom cleaning spray and wipe it off with paper towels.

Pajamas run small I think. I have been getting regular size 4 from Gymbo and 5T from Carters after he grew out of 4T Carters. Gap also has regular size 4

My kids did that when they had a cold, or when they were teething. It helped to get DD2 really sleepy with a paci and then sneak the boob in.

kdubs923 , I would move straight to Kids 5. There is some overlap between 4T/4 & 5T/5 but for snug fit pjs we got more use out of them by moving up. (that it is if you don't mind a little bunching at the ankles & wrists)

My question: Who has had their membranes stripped, and was it successful? If so, when did labor begin?
I'm due Saturday and had mine stripped this morning. I am very crampy and spotting with some contractions but nothing consistent (I've been having irregular contractions for weeks, FWIW). My OB said 33% of women go into labor within 48 hours.

My BFF did and she did go into labor within 48 hours... I think more like 24 hours actually.
I have a few questions I've been saving up (and I may make a separate post depending on how desperate I get...):
1. DD is 6.5 months and still sleeps in the RNP in our room at night. I have a few ideas for rigging the crib to be more snuggly like a RNP, but has anyone been successful in this transition and have any tips for me?
1a. She's also been waking up every hour (almost on the dot!) the past week or so. Should I wait to try transitioning to crib until after she's had a few nights of better sleep? She's been wildly inconsistent in how long she sleeps so I don't know when will be the best time for this.
2. I've been sending approx 2 oz of purees to daycare, and while she still nurses the same amount or more at home, my supply has dipped quite a bit the past week or so. Maybe because she's been nursing more MOTN, or because I haven't been sleeping, but can I also expect that the dip might be because she's taking in less because of solids? She's still consuming the same amount in bottles at daycare, so I'm worried I won't be able to keep up with what I'm pumping now, although I do have a decent freezer stash.

1. When did you start brushing teeth twice a day?
2. Where can I find warm sheets for a crib? Like fleece, flannel, something warmer.
3. Is there any reason to keep E on whole milk after he turns 2? He's a skinny kid so he could use the extra fat but we usually use skim so I'm just curious.

1. Ethan always slept 6 hours in his RNP so I kept him in it until he was 8+ months. I think if she still fits and is strapped in you're safe to use it.
2. But if she's not sleeping well anyway, just shoot for the crib now. When we made the switch he was older and I was comfortable giving him a lovey so that's what I think helped a lot.

I did with ds2. She stripped them around 4 I think and he was born at 9:55 the next morning.
starryfish are you combo feeding? That was around the point both of my girls really struggled with going back and forth from boob to bottle, likely coincided with a growth spurt. Bottle = easier so boob made them angry. Definitely get evaluated for ties.

I'm so happy to hear this, scm1011! I hope the transition back to work is going well too!
When do you stop using onesies and go straight to t shirts? DD is in 24 month onesies and I'm not sure if they make them in 2T! She has a huge belly and a long torso, so I love the onesies so I know her belly stays warm in the winter. Otherwise the shirts ride up and her belly peeks out she also has an umbilical hernia and likes to pull on it when she can reach it. Lol! I put her in a onesie under a sweater every day. Do they make undershirts or something I'm supposed to use after 2?

No I only used formula last night and this morning for my sanity. She usually doesn't like bottles.

is she stuffy at all? That can make it uncomfortable.
noodleoo I use short sleeve white onesies under tees as an undershirt and extra layer right now. I started doing this with tees around 14 months when she started to fit in 12-18mo.

1. As soon as he got teeth and as soon and we remembered
