Those are the small bottles? If so, is think two would be good. I've been using the c serum and raspberry glycolic for several months now. My skin has never looked this good.
I haven't tried those, but I think beautypedia gave them good reviews.
I used both facial bars. When I finished the samples I went back to my cerave foaming face wash. The bars didn't do anything for me. The sunscreen layers well under makeup and doesn't feel excessively heavy. My main issue is the fact that it has glitter. I do not want glitter in my sunscreen. I definitely won't repurchase. I do use their glycolic acid and do really like that.
I had the small ones too, and two pumps of each did the same. I ended up getting the full size of the B moisturizer, C serum, and TLC (night serum). For the full size I only need one pump. I'm not hugely in love with B - though it makes spreading the serum really easy. But the C and TLC like.
I got the sample size bars. They are fine. I have to double cleanse (oil cleanser) and then use the bar, the bar isn't enough (but I also generally double cleanse, but this won't let me cheat).
I'm curious about the sunscreen but I do currently really like my EltaMD sunscreen (i'm on bottle 3, and im way fickle usually).
centralsquare Yes I am using the small ones. 1 pump doesn't seem like enough and 2 seems like a little bit too much (but not if I spread it on my neck).
kirby I hate glitter in makeup too! Unfortunately glycolic makes me breakout so I can't try that product.
mfluder good to know because it feels excessive to use 2 pumps and I know exactly what you mean about the "b" making "c" easier to spread. The first time I used them I tried them separately and wasn't a fan.
Will you repurchase the bars? I'm almost out of my second cleanser/morning cleanser (fresh soy) and am considering these bars but something about bars weirds me out.
namasteak I repurchased a full size of the white bar (I can't remember which one that is) because I was much further in my sample, and well, I had 20% off. Now I don't know if I would have bothered. The dark colored one is nice in the morning, I'm just super lazy in the morning so I often just end up using my bioderma instead hehe. Bars weird me out too - like, people get weirded out by products in pots, and I feel like stuff might just stay on the soap bar? But I haven't had a problem so far. I will say, I have decided I like my trader joes all-in-one facial cleanser (in the nourish line) better.
Oh, The Ordinary thread reminds me. I also have the oil. It's really pretty, but I also got TO's version to compare (both are 100% of the same oil). I do admit the DE is more luxury feeling, I don't know why, but the TO seems to absorb a little better and frankly, the DE one isn't 7X better (the price difference b/w the two companies).
