This is the first time I've been excited about makeup in awhile. I'll be curious about reviews.
I got an email this morning from Tarte, about some new lip sheers colors. They look beautiful! Either Tarte is stepping up their game, or their marketing... .. but I like it.
I recently purchased the Tarteist Pro Amazonian Clay palette and am loving it!
I can't remember if I shared this or not, but I also picked up a Bumble & Bumble brown hairspray to cover the very faint grays in my bangs. Yeah, it sucked. By the time the few grays were covered, I'd probably used 1/3rd of the can. It's going back to Sephora. It is by far the worst hair product I've ever purchased. Ron Popeil's spray on hair would work better than this. Total fail.
Urban Decay is on Hautelook with the original primer potion packaging and a bunch of the older model lipsticks that everybody was snatching up for $11 a while ago - if you waited too long, you can still get them, now for $9.97+the slowest shipping known to man. They also have the revolution high color lipglosses, which I really like.
ETA: I'm reading the reviews and most of them are high reviews with people saying how excited they are to get their hands on it. That's some bullshit review. WTF, Too Faced?

I ran upstairs to look and it is. 031 oz compared to the full size at. 05oz. Not bad at all, especially since I never finish lip products anyway.
I went to Ulta today for a brow wax and did not buy a single thing. I swatched those Stila Glitter and Glow eyeshadows, I'm not sure if it is because they were getting to the end but they did not seem worth it.
I've been doing well not even looking at palettes but I caved and bought Sigma's Fall Softly palette when it was half off. I wore it today and got two compliments in Ulta, fist pump. It's cooler toned, perfect for spring, and decently pigmented. So much better than the Lorac Brunch palette.

Crap. If MAC is going into Ulta stores I may have to go back to ulta. I've been boycotting shopping there the last few months after really horrible customer service.

Oh, MAC at Ulta makes me happy!! I used to wear almost exclusively MAC, but I haven't bought anything in a while because I started consolidating my makeup spending at Sephora or Ulta.
Has anyone tried the facial Cleansing Oil from Trader Joe's?
It was super cheap (around $5 I think), and it smelled good. I may give it a try when I finish up my Julep.
Also, my Nordstrom Rack had the UD Primer Potion for $10 (the regular and the anti-aging). I also got a Stila lip and cheek stain in a super pretty raspberry color, but so pigmented that it was impossible to work with.
I've hated every Tarte eyeshadow that I've tried, so I may be able to resist that palette, but that rainbow highlighter and the UNICORN HORN makeup brushes will definitely be mine!!

I'm going to need this pallet. It's gorgeous and perfect for me. There's only one shadow that I may not wear.

I got my second My Little Box bluestreet. It's not bad. A full sized pinky-nude nail polish (perfect for spring), a gorgeous foundation/powder brush (pretty blush colour), and then two samples: Makeup Forever Ultra HD powder and Laura Mercier Foundation primer (blemish-less) both products I wanted to try out (can bring them on holiday). And it all came in a plastic bag which can be used for travel to keep anything that might break from ruining other things. Or I can use it in the showers at my hockey club as I won't care if it gets wet. Either way, a good box overall.

I've been using the TJ's oil as the last step in this routine for a couple weeks now and it works well and smells nice.
I wish we had a Rack! They don't have makeup/skincare online. So sad.
Also, hello - I have been lurking on the makeup board for awhile so I should introduce myself.
It seems generous for a 100 pt perk and the color is so pretty. I put it on as soon as I opened the package.
Yes I was excited to see this. It is the size I was hoping. I have another matte crayon this size that I have bought during a holiday promo a few years ago, and I think it's like 2/3 of a full size. Definitely an amazing perk.

I'm thinking the Bite lip crayon reward must be the same size as the ones that came in the Holiday sets. I also grabbed the Origins mask and the 7-day Ole Henriksen stuff. I can't wait.
There's really no reason for me to keep hoarding the points but I do for some reason. I'm going to at least try to keep it above 500 just in case a must-have 500-point set pops up.
I need to stop at Trader Joe's today to get the oil and the cleanser.
The Bite perk is a seriously gorgeous color. OMG. And it's the rare kind of color that would be completely appropriate in a conservative, professional setting and look fabulous with a great pair of sunglasses.
I also got the Clinique highlighter chubby stick reward. It's a subtle highlighter and has a nice sheen. Decent amount of product for 100 points. Wouldn't be my go-to for daily wear, but perfect for throwing in a purse for a quick touch up.

Ohh I need to pick this up and give it a try. I've been using Julep for a few years but this looks interesting.

Thanks to the retinol thread, I've been using Differin for a few weeks now. We'll see how things go through multiple menstrual cycles (since, yay, I still get hormonal acne ) but I think overall my skin is already improving. More on the acne front than fine lines so far, but I'm optimistic.
Plus it doesn't stain/bleach stuff like the benzoyl peroxide-based creams that I used when I was younger.
I had lunch with a close girlfriend today and I was all "what did you do to your eyebrows?"
Overwaxed, too pointed towards her nose. Made her look angry. So after lunch we went to sephora to practice filling them in and get some products and I was like, OK just fill them in while you let them grow out. Luckily we're close enough that she didn't get offended by it. She was actually like "see, THAT'S how I know you're a good friend" lol.

The visible anti-aging effects take longer to kick in. Like two months. You're gonna love it!
