So the story is definitely fishy, but domestic violence isn't what comes to mind from all this fishiness. I think the story is plausible....for example the bullet goes through his arm and bullet fragment continued through to her. I mean, we have no idea about the angle the gun was fired, how close she was to him, whether she had approached from the rear/front/side...there's so much unknown. Was the gun on a table? On his lap?
Going off of the story, he was the one with the injury that sounds to be more serious. After reading everything and taking into consideration what someone said he posted about struggles what actually came to mind if her story is not true, is a botched suicide attempt. Pure speculation but I could imagine a scenario where say his friend or her tried to stop something, the bullet dislodged anyway injuring them both.
I truly hope it was an accident and for god's sake he learn the proper safety of cleaning a gun.
I don't follow her, but accidents DO happen. My brother accidentally shot himself in the head and died when I was 16. He apparently didn't know the gun was loaded. He was trying to clean it at the time.
My dad shot himself in the leg while "cleaning" his gun.
He claims he got HepC from the hospital during his recovery.
He was also an IV drug user at the time, so who knows what he was really doing with the gun when he shot himself and LOfuckingL at his assertation about how he got hepatitis.
