Morning. Who's getting snow this week?
H had to go back to work today, so a friend is coming to take me to the NICU. E had a good night; if she keeps tolerating breastmilk, she'll be able to come off her IV food this week. She's almost up to her birth weight already!
thoseareradishes, I am so glad to read all of your updates on little girl! I have been thinking of you non-stop and am beyond happy to hear she is doing so well.
We are supposed to get lots of snow tomorrow, which I am not pleased about, but it is what it is. We bought a second hand glider this weekend and a friend dropped off TONS of stuff for baby. We also got together with old friends and told them the news. IT was so fun, but then I get anxious and nervous that something is wrong so I had to come home and use the doppler to reassure myself.
We're supposed to get 4-6 inches. Last night was only a little, enough to cover the driveway, but I can still see grass poking through and the roads aren't too bad.
I am, however, starting to wrory about going into labor with H downtown. His HR said she'd try to talk the head of the firm into paying for H to take an uber home (if not snowing, it's about an hour drive. Otherwise he'd have to wait for the next available train, then either uber home from train station, take the bus from train to his car if it's during regular commute hours, or I have to pick him up from the station). None of those options sound good.
H had some pretty bad stomach pains overnight. We're not sure if it's his ulcer acting up again or something different. Waiting for insurance lines to open so I can see if they've finished processing our insurance renewal (supposed to happen per his company on 3/1, but they haven't yet switched our online cards to reflect the new PCP we picked out).
Great news, thoseareradishes!! So glad to hear your little lady is doing well
We're going to get slammed with snow tomorrow, so DH will likely have a snow day (teacher) and I will WFH (unless they just close the stock market, FX!). DS has been so fun lately, so it'll be nice to spend more time with him during the day even if I have to work.
I went to a clothing swap on Saturday and got tons of great stuff in the next size up. My little peanut has officially outgrown all of his 0-3 month clothes, so it was great to get a new influx of 3-6 month stuff for free!
We're supposed to get snow, but the forecast is.. unclear at best. Depending on whose forecast you look at, we're getting between 0-12 inches of snow. What the fuck? You can't be more precise than that? I hope it's 0. I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow to discuss my blood sugar numbers.
shauni27- I would get anxious after telling someone new as well. PGAL is so hard.
grover- I hope you go into labour when your H is home and you don't have to worry about his commute home.
DD is now 2 1/2 months, she is growing so much. She is so chunky now, lol. She is so amazing, I still look at her and can't believe after everything she is here and she's ours.
She is so easy going, is a great sleeper and I have been able to get lots of work done to the house because she's just content laying on the floor hanging out. She's trying so hard to talk, it's so cute.
Don't hate me but I'm pretty excited about this cold snap coming. Today's high is 80, but by Wednesday it should be only 65. We should have a week or so of being able to open up all the windows in the house.
So I told you guys my son's birthday was last week, he turned 4. Then on Saturday we had his party. He thought that meant he is 5 now, and is legitimately confused when we tell him that he's actually still 4. Poor kid.
I have another NST this afternoon. Last week's took forever so hopefully today she won't be so lazy.
thoseareradishes, such great news about E! I have a close friend whose doctor is talking about delivering her once she gets to 24 weeks. She's terrified. I was telling her about you guys and how well your little girl has been doing for being so early.
grover, I hope your H starts feeling better soon. It sucks to have things held up by insurance. Plus, doesn't he know that at this point you're the only one who should be allowed to have any ailments?
awick14, great to hear about your baby. Is she smiling at you now?
no snow here, just cool and damp. It's depressing, I hate this kind of weather. It's supposed to warm up mid-week though, FX! moving day is Wednesday, then a 6 hour drive, where we'll crash with my BIL until we close on our home in the new city and move in on Friday. busy busy week!
Thoseareradishes, I'm so happy to hear baby girl is continuing to do so well. What a little champ!
We're expecting 12"-18" tomorrow. Ugh. I don't think we'll be able to go to work and I'm guessing daycare is going to be closed which they rarely do but this one sounds so bad.
DS was walking with his push walker all over the place this weekend. I can't stop watching the video. We also went to the mall and got him some new spring clothes and his Easter basket and stuffed bunny.

Ha, I was going to ask you what their track record was with storms! I'm bracing for them to be closed, but since DH is a BPS teacher I'm guessing he'll be off too and I can just work from home.

They're actually really good about it! They only closed once; for that last blizzard in early Feb. H was talking to one of the teachers about it a few days later and she said they try really hard to avoid it because many parents work at the hospital and can't take the day off.

We went up north for a weekend at our favorite ski resort (despite G's' broken leg) and it was -35 on Saturday....I will happily give you our cold wave!

I can't even comprehend what -35 means. Like, it's speaking gibberish to me. I've lived in Florida my whole life.

We had our appt with the RE this morning about doing a frozen embryo transfer. It's crazy how much easier the process will be this time around. The dr is very optimistic for us since we have 6 very well graded frosties. I'm excited!

So jealous! Dh and I agreed that the nuvaring comes out next week once we're moved in and settled a bit, and we'll just KOKO until I find a new RE. I plan to start making phone calls for appointments once I know my new work schedule.

It was awful. It was -10 but with the CRAZY wind it was -35. It was painful and unbearable. My car hardly started!

I hope you quickly find a new RE you like! We're travelling in May so I'm thinking we may start the process of getting my IUD out in early May since I'll have to (hopefully) give it a month and have a normal period before we start everything. If I don't get my period he said he can get me on something to start it back up. In the meantime I'll just obsessively pin baby stuff on my secret pinterest board lol.

We went in for our appointment today and there was no heartbeat at what should have been 11 weeks. I'll go in for a D&C this evening. I'm so disappointed. And so grateful to have my daughter.
