I have combination skin. I like my daily sunscreen (Paula's Choice moisturizer with SPF 50) but it's not going to cut it for hot and humid Houston during the summer, especially now that I'm using retinol. We are headed to Belize for a work trip for DH soon so I need to get something.
Any favorites? I'm fine with buying multiples if one is really great for normal wear in hot weather while another is better for pool/beach situations.
Coola Mineral Face matte cucumber. It feels so good going on and smells amazing. But it is pricey. The skin around my eyes is super sensitive, and Biore and some of the other mineral ones I've tried have just been awful for me. This is the only one I've tried that doesn't bother me.

I find I still get shiny when I use the Biore especially during the summer. So for summer months/vacation, I use the Innisfree free. It seems to hold up better under makeup for me when it's warmer.
Now I've seen the light and spend much less on sunscreen. I have dryer sensitive skin, so I generally use the Shiseido Senka Aging Care. In summer when I know I'm going to be sweaty, I'll use Biore UV Face Milk.
does fine for me. I feel like it just dissapears onto my dryish/normal skin. though if I'm feeling like I need a primer I'll usually just use the perfect bright something or other face milk which feels primery to me. Dries down SUPER FAST and has a light siliconey feel.
eta: which makes sense, since half the ingredients are assorted 'cones, and it's got talc in it.

I tend to get oily, and I've worn Shiseido Ultimate Sun Protection Cream for the last 7 years. It mattifies so well that I use it as a daily primer year round.
I love the biore perfect face milk especially since I tend more towards oily. I love the cooks cucumber too, but it balls up on me which I don't love to combine with anything but will wear by itself
I use the Shiseido Extra Smooth sunscreen, which works best with my dry skin. Since I've moved to LA my face has stayed noticeably lighter than the rest of my skin, so I guess it works!

It IS my primer - lol. I've even put it on a couple of times when I've done evening makeup. But I don't normally use primer, so I probably don't know what I'm talking about.
Thanks for all the recs! I ended up ordering the shiseido ultimate sun protection, the innisfree, and the missha soft finish sunmilk. So far I've tried the missha a few times and the innisfree today and really like both. They feel nice on and not heavy. Hopefully these will do the trick!

I use their tinted, unscented BB cream and love it. It doesn't smell awful like other sunscreens, doesn't have a weird texture, and doesn't irritate my skin.

LOL, I went down a rabbit hole and found this and decided to try it. Came back to this thread and see you're using it. I guess this means I'll love it.
