I had thyroid cancer 14 years ago. I had it removed and went through two rounds of radiation. For the last few years I've been followed by my endo and changed to one of the best ones a couple years ago.
anyway, my last appointment, my neck sono showed something had changed in two of my nodes and my tumor marker went up slightly. So they want to do another biopsy to check out what is going on.
it's good to be proactive but I'm freaking the fuck out people.
My endo is pretty sure it's just residual papillary cells that are slowly changing but wants a closer look.
anyway, I rarely ask for, but could use some healthy t&ps***
***I feel dumb asking because so many other people are going through so many worse health/life stuff.
Don't worry about others' issues being bigger/more serious than yours. There's no limit to the thoughts and prayers that people can send! Praying for you doesn't take away prayers for others!
Please don't feel dumb for asking for thoughts and prayers. There is always someone who has it worse, but that doesn't make your situation any less serious.
Hugs. Something similar happened to my FIL in his early 60s (he had had thyroid cancer in his late 30s/early 40s). He ended up being totally fine and I'm confident you will be too!

You got it.
My sister has thyroid cancer over 30+ years ago, and also has to have hers checked out yearly or maybe every 5 years. Anyway, she too, had some changes one time, but it turned out to be nothing. I hope the same for you.
"Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you've got a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies-"God damn it, you've got to be kind.”
