I have inherited a half (ish?) finished afghan from MIL. It's a baby afghan her mother started at some point (probably in the 70s or 80s) and she wanted me to finish it, but turns out it's crochet. I can crochet, but it's so terrible for me that it is definitely not ever going to happen for this blanket.
So it needs to be completed by someone else. Our LYS just closed, so I can't ask there. Who do I ask to find someone to finish this project? (It's sort of crochet entrelac). I'm willing to pay appropriate prices to get someone to finish this. I have the pattern and (I think) all the necessary yarn.
Terrible quality pic so you can see what I'm talking about ...
Turns out it's Tunisian crochet. I took it to the lys owner and she said I can probably do it myself. So I'm going to give it a go and if I fail, she's recommended a couple locals who could do it.
