kicks I saw that you are planning a trip to Cuba later in the year.

I'm planning on going with some friends and there's a bit of confusion regarding travel requirements. Do we still need to apply for a license from OFAC? I didn't think we did but a friend says we have to.

You mean apply for a license ahead of time?
I'm pretty sure you don't, but like most of my travel, I make last minute decisions and research

I was talking to my neighbor yesterday and their kid is also 3 with a September 20 birthday. They have him in a DC private now, but I think they were planning on moving him to MD. They thought the cutoff was September 30 like DC and VA. Unfortunately I burst their bubble yesterday and they were not too happy. It is so arbitrary. When I was a kid in the same state it was December 31, then October 15, then September 30, now September 1. I don't get it.

It is September 1st but they do early testing for those with birthdays through October 15th (at least for public). I only know because DS birthday is October 16th and they wouldn't even test him.

I was talking about applying for a license ahead of time, and that's what I thought too. My friend is making me second guess my reading comprehension skills.
Either way my flight is booked, so I have a couple of months to figure it out.

I haven't been around much but I thought of you ladies when I schooled a coworker on misappropriation of Hindu symbols throughout history. Thankfully he promptly stopped talking. But I was like "oops did I go too far?" since I've only been working there for like 4 months. But he was wrong and I could not sit there and not say anything.
