Ulta was great. They asked no questions, had me shut down my old reward account, open a new one, and she credited me all of my points.
The only thing I lost was my path to platinum spending, about $ 250. The person with whom I spoke said to call back if I don't make platinum on my own, and I can get it credited later. Oh well.

That part makes no sense. They should be able to track that easily.
