Dysonhair dryer

Holy cow. I know it's spendy. We have the Dyson animal at home & the animal stick vac, and at work, 2 of their floor fans. All are amazing. So I took a chance on the hair dryer and I am in awe. Not only does my hair dry 80% faster, it's quiet, & doesn't produce or promote humidity. I can't believe it. It's the holy grail of hair dryers. I think I'm going to get one for my hair person. I actually registered it for the 2 year warranty. We shall see. Allllll of my other hair dryers seem to crap out within a year so I hope this lasts longer.

I have been curious about this hair dryer. How would you describe your hair type?

I have always had to invest in high quality blow dryers. I wear it straight most of the time but it is naturally curly, coarse and thick. I currently have a T3 Featherweight Luxe 2i Dryer and while I like that it does not damage my hair and it dries fast, I still have to use a flat iron afterwards.

sju,i have a lot of very fine, straight hair. With a normal dryer, I can put in a texturizer and scrunch while drying. But with this dryer, it was so powerful that my hair tried faster than I had time to scrunch! However, the dryer comes with attachments: smoothling nozzle, stylish mg concentrator, and a diffuser. I'm going to try the diffuser next. I'm gassing that the smoothing nozzle would work for straightening. That, or the styling concentrator. Also, if your bathroom outlets aren't 20 amp, I've been told that you can't have anything else plugged. We have 20 amp outlets and everything worked just fine.

This is how I feel. I hate blowdrying my hair and almost never do it, but if I had a fast dryer I think I might.

Thanks for the response zoomzoom,. Shortening drying time is key(I say the T3 helped me save about 25-30% of time).

Yup my hair is thick and curly. Drying with a defuser takes forever. My hairstylist had it dry in like 10-15 mins with the dyson. I was shocked lol.

I have a BioIonic, which is the same price point. It seriously impresses me what a difference a quality hair dryer makes with the time spent drying my hair.

I contemplated getting this during the April Sephora sale, but I couldn't justify it as I rarely dry my hair now... though my hair is thick and semi-long. I did end up buying the Drybar Buttercup hari dryer (Travel size). Since I wash my hair at night (and it's usually dry by morning), I haven't even use the hair dryer yet.

My hairstylist used it on my hair at my last appointment and I was blown away at how much it lived up to the hype. I have thickish curly hair that usually gets blown straight.

I told mine about it and she wants me to bring it in at my next appointment.  She doesn't believe me!  Lol.
