As soon as I ovulate (probably in the next 2 days) I am starting progestin vaginal suppositories. Has anybody else taken this? I would love to hear others experience with side effects.
I'm really really hoping this works, my doctor is giving it two months and then wants to move on to Clomid, which kind of scares me.
I take oral pills, 200mg a day. The only thing that I notice is that I am really tired. No real side effects that I have noticed. I have heard to stock up on panty liners for the suppositories. GL
Thanks ladies! I have to admit that the side effect of being warm sounds really nice.
I have had the repeat loss panel, and have been seeing an acu for spotting after ovulation, she thinks I have a luteal phase defect and my new doctor agrees but we haven't done any testing yet. My old doctor refused to give me progesterone, so I've recently stopped seeing him. I've suspected for several months that I have a progesterone issue based on the spotting and rocky charts so its nice to have a doctor that is taking some action.

Are they not willing to do a 7dpo blood test?
The first doctor was not. They were really unwilling to do much of anything beyond the loss panel, which is why I'm switching. My new doctor felt that my charts and spotting were enough to warrant the progesterone. If I'm not pregnant in two months, I'll go back to discuss next steps which will likely include Clomid and I imagine some testing.

The testing should come before the Clomid : CD3 bloodwork, a follicular ultrasound, an HSG, 7dpo bloodwork for you and an SA for your husband.
Which one are you on... The only one ive taken is Crinone. Its messy but totally painless. I always carry around baby wipes or feminine wipes when im on them because they just make me feel gross!

I'm taking Prometrium. Good tip about the baby wipes!
