So last night the kids had McDonald's, apparently Alexander put his leftover in the the play kitchen fridge and dug it out and ate two nuggets and some fries tonight (I was at swimming with Daniel, H was working so wasn't paying full attention and thought they were from the actual fridge). Please tell me McDonald's is so full of preservatives that he's going to be just fine. I'm so scared he's going to start puking
I'm actually not even worried lol. I feel like that food is fine forever.
I just use a bag of Bob Red Mills gluten free muffin mix because of Js issues and add to it. Today we did 2 bananas, pecan and mulberries added in. I'll add pureed pumpkin, pureed squash, grated zuchinni (you could puree too if there's too much texture, pureed spinach, really nothing specific. Muffins are forgiving I like adding different nuts and seeds too for texture and good fats.
Feeding therapy is great, we did it with J and it was a really positive experience. I hope you have similar success!
I definitely can get more creative with muffins! I've done pumpkin, squash and zuchinni, but haven't tried spinach yet. What seeds do you use? I just got some chia seeds that I've been adding to pancakes, but haven't tried any others.
We got an invite for another kid in preschool today for his birthday, same day and time as A's. I hope we don't get any cancellations for A's party from people who have said yes now that there is another party.
