I'm H is watching C today and working from home because our DC is closed and I am so jealous. I really wish I could work from home and chill with her. I am so unmotivated at work.
I was just about to pay a medical bill yesterday and realized that it showed no insurance payment. Called the billing office and they didn't have the insurance info so just billed it all to me. So glad I noticed that! I wonder how often people just would have paid it without checking on it?

Loco Coco, good luck. The doctors office will have a bucket thing to put on the toilet to catch the pee, then you pour it in the cup. That part won't be too bad... just so long as she will pee. Maybe bring juice boxes if you have any, and pump her with juice in the waiting room.
I win. Our kids are math testing today and tomorrow. We aren't allowed to test our own kids and there have been lots of schedule changes. So now...I'm a hall monitor for 2 days. Woo hoo
DH is in Paris all week. It's rainy and an early dismissal day from school. I'm over this week.
But I just booked my tickets for a girls weekend in Puerto Rico! I've never been before. Now I need to start dieting to prepare, lol.
Mh and I were just in PR in February. It was beautiful! What area are you going to? We spent most of the week in Rincon on the West coast mostly just relaxing on the beach and eating. Then spent 2 days in Old SAN Juan. Old SAN Juan was cool with lots of shops and restaurants. We wanted to do one of the islands off the east coast but ran out of time

We are staying at the Condado Vanderbilt in San Juan. It only 3 days and I suspect we may not leave the hotel/pool lol
devonpow, H looks so grown up in your signature photo!!!
. He's 10! I want to cr with how old he is. He only wears Under Armour clothes and walks to school and friend's houses on his own. They all have a system of "texting" via online video games they play (since we haven't gone to the dark side of cell phones yet). He's getting moody. It's too much! My baby boy
So A likes my husband more than me lol. Anyways she told me the other day "I found these pine cones. I'm going to use them to make some art for Mother's Day...for daddy. Because daddy and me are best buddies". I don't think she understands Mother's Day! My husband better make her make something for me.

The weather this week has been amazing. We just spent the whole morning/early afternoon at our favorite park.
I need to find some more recipes to get more veggies into the kids. I tried smoothies with W and she hated them (too cold )
The library's pajama storytime tonight is having special guest visitors...ballerinas! They are going to demonstrate a couple of their dances and then read to the kids. I think W will really like it!

I just got an email from my "buddy family" at Violets new school for next year. They have a daughter a year older and they're now our buddies who can be friends with us, answer any questions and help us adjust to the school community. I thought that was so sweet! I'm really excited about this school
Can we re name this wtf Wednesday? Yup my baby turned 8 weeks today Just went to the bathroom and my period is starting I know it's not pp bleeding bc that stopped this time at 3ish weeks
fusion, do you have any favorite, tried and true veggie muffin recipes?
We spent 3 hours at the children's hospital this morning for G's feeding eval and I am so relieved. It will take a few weeks for the full report to be compiled and submitted to insurance, but for now they are recommending twice a week therapy with both a ST and OT due to oral-motor and sensory issues.
Everyone IRL who's given me the oh, so helpful "he'll eat when he gets hungry enough" advice can stuff it. No he will NOT, and the eval team only confirmed that. I finally feel like there might be a light at the end of this tunnel.

I just use a bag of Bob Red Mills gluten free muffin mix because of Js issues and add to it. Today we did 2 bananas, pecan and mulberries added in. I'll add pureed pumpkin, pureed squash, grated zuchinni (you could puree too if there's too much texture, pureed spinach, really nothing specific. Muffins are forgiving I like adding different nuts and seeds too for texture and good fats.
Feeding therapy is great, we did it with J and it was a really positive experience. I hope you have similar success!

Thank you! I'm going to try and experiment this weekend. The kid will usually eat a muffin so it can't hurt to try!
mlkgls - I'm so glad it went well, and that you'll be getting ST and OT. It's such a relief to just have a plan. I'm sure you're in good hands, and hope this helps!!!

So last night the kids had McDonald's, apparently Alexander put his leftover in the the play kitchen fridge and dug it out and ate two nuggets and some fries tonight (I was at swimming with Daniel, H was working so wasn't paying full attention and thought they were from the actual fridge). Please tell me McDonald's is so full of preservatives that he's going to be just fine. I'm so scared he's going to start puking

I definitely can get more creative with muffins! I've done pumpkin, squash and zuchinni, but haven't tried spinach yet. What seeds do you use? I just got some chia seeds that I've been adding to pancakes, but haven't tried any others.

The ballerina storytime tonight was amazing. It was all high school girls and they were so sweet and patient with the kids. W was the only one who got up and tried all the dance moves with them. After all the challenges she's been through with her foot, it made me tear up watching her dance with them. We got 2 free tickets to their ballet performance next weekend so I think I will be taking W on her birthday!
