amaranth I hope you don't mind me asking you but your the sewing guru! I was wondering if you know any good sites for sewing patterns for wallets, totes and purses? I wanted to make a set for my mom, MIL and SIL for Mother's Day. Thanks!!!

Sorry for the delay! I recently saw a bag pattern designer going out of business and all their patterns were $1. I was trying to find that link and I cant refind it anywhere:(

Anyway, there is a pattern group on Facebook that is the most useful resource I know. I just did a quick search for each of the keywords "bag", "purse", and "wallet" and tons of options came up for each. You can also post what you're looking for if nothing seems roght and hopefully someone will know what fits your criteria. Do you want me to add you to the group?

Ok I'm an idiot lol. I found the group. I just saved about 10 different options lol. Maybe they will get different pattern designs because now I can choose. Thank you!!!!

It's addicting! How old are your nieces? Maybe I could point you to some of my favorite free patterns to start out.

One is 12 and the other one is 3.

So I don't know much for the 12 year old, but if she could wear a women's XXS or bigger I'll list those options. These are all free. If you wanted you buy one or two my recommendations would honestly be different.
