Eye lift

This is not something for me right now, but the overhang of my eyelid is getting more and more pronounced as I age (you can see my pic in the randoms).  It's pushing down on my eyelashes and I worry that eventually will impede my sight.  Has anyone ever gotten an eye lift? If so, how did it work out?

I haven't, but I intend to get one within the next few years! I have hooded eyes at it is, and the little pooch I'm getting up there, while not hanging onto my lashes, is becoming more noticeable.

My neighbor had one for the medical reason you describe a few years ago. She is totally pleased. We talk about it all the time, lol.

I personally did not have one.

A family friend in her 60s did have one and omg...she looks so fantastic. It just looks like she had an awesome night of sleep and is bright eyed and happy. It really made her super happy and she looks outstanding. She said recovery wasn't too bad.

My aunt, uncle, and cousins have all had it done. They look fab.

My mom (68) had hers done last year, and while she looks much more rested/younger she's said she wouldn't do it over again. Her recovery was tough, and her eyesight has gotten significantly worse, which is apparently a not-uncommon side effect. She also really loves to complain, so take this with a grain of salt.

My friend did and her insurance paid for it. It was deemed a medical necessity due to impeding her eyesight.
