It feels so "not me" because it's popular and floofy and such. But then...it's SO ME. I feel like it's the kind of mind dump I need. Maybe it would make me sit for a few minutes daily and just word vomit so I wouldn't be so wound up. But Pinterest is stupid. I found a simplified explanation, but do I know REAL people who do this?
Kind of - I bought a journal from the dollar store that fits in my purse.
I don't do all the pretty spreads and everything, but I make a weekly spread and sometimes daily one. I like it because I am a list person and now all of my lists are in one place. Most of the time I use it for planning the big things I need to get done over the week, my meal plan, and my grocery list.

I'm also a list person, so I like the idea of keeping them in one place instead of all over or in a million notes on my phone. I may have to try

I started with a bullet journal almost a year ago, and really liked it (but hated drawing the lines and charts.) So I bought an Erin Condren planner, and have used it instead. I love it. I make lots of to do list (work and life) and use the calendar. It helps me stress wise to get the list on paper.
Lol-- I've been bullet journaling for decades, in the sense that I always carry a notebook around for my lists, notes, schedules, ideas, etc. I have a box of them going back over 20 years. One day I'll sit down and annotate them, because right now they are of no use to anyone but me.

I did the same. I have a journal and I write down meal plans, things I really need to do for the day, grocery lists, orders I need to fill for my shop, and design ideas for bows/dresses.
I tried following the bullet plan, but it didn't work

I don't bullet journal like what is on Pinterest, but I do have a Happy Planner that is pretty much my lifeline. Grocery lists, meal plans, to-do lists, monthly and weekly calendars, budgets, etc.
I am a list maker and LOVE marking things off my lists.
Yeah. I doubt I could ever follow some of the insanity, but the idea of an index and stuff makes my geeky self excited. I think I'll try it out. Summer is coming, it's easier to get into a habit.
